The staff at the Hill House Hospice was truly amazing with the care extended to my sister and her family. There was never a time where my sister was neglected quite the contrary. To quote my sister , this is the way to go

I write this review, on the night of my father's passing peacefully at Hill House Hospice. My dad spent 11 days in Hill House after spending 8 days a MSH where he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Being in a home like environment really allowed us come to terms with the news and settle into spend what remaining time is left, without having to worry about dad's nursing needs. The staff was extremely compassionate and caring, and took care of my father with great care and dignity. My family and I were able to spend the last days with my father in a wonderful setting, and peaceful environment that felt like home to my dad. Knowing that they took care of my father when we were not there, gave us a great peace of mind. I cannot stress enough how Hill House was able give our family the opportunity to enjoy our last days, hours, minutes and seconds with dad, right down to his last breath. Dr Berger came in daily and provided us with a daily assessment, and within the last hours of my dad being ready, the nursing staff were able to let us know our time has run out, and all our family were able to come visit and say our final good byes.Thank you Hill House staff, we are forever grateful for your caring services and the compassion you have shown my dad and for our family.

Losing a parent is something you think you can prepare for. You can't. But, to a person, the Hill House staff/volunteers made the terrible bearable. We are a large (huge?) extended family which sometimes felt as if we were taking over the space. We were given free, respectful (and respected) reign. Can't count the number of times over the last six years that I've used the term a good death" to describe what my mom experienced at Hill House. Thank you to everyone at that very good place."

Hill House Hospice made my mother's passing so much more. My debt is eternal. It opened my eyes on how different death can be. It must be a tough job, but you touched us both in ways it is hard to describe, so I hope knowing how much impact you had makes it easier. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

It was a tough decision bringing my mom here coz she wanted to die at home. But she required extra care that we could not do on our own. From the moment they welcomed her in, the staff was TRULY amazing! Within the hour, they made my mom smile - something I had not seen in months and I knew we made the right choice. The team was so attentive and patient with our large family. They were there when she needed them but never interfered with our time with her.I wish more people would donate to this not-for-profit organization. In a world enveloped in disease and sadness, it really needs more people and places like this.

It was my first time walking into a Hospice with the settings of a home. Very clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing! Kind and loving, treated my husband with great care. The staff was so comforting, spoke with me and my daughter and give us all the support they could have given. Well done and big thank you to all the Nurses and PSWs at Hill House Hospice.

I cannot say enough about Hill House Hospice. Although my fathers stay was very short, from the moment that my father was admitted and our family was given a tour of this beautiful three bedroom home we felt so welcomed here. The nurses, psw’s, volunteers and admin staff were absolutely amazing. Kudos to all of them. I wouldn’t have wanted my father to pass anywhere else. Keep up the great work.

I am forever grateful for the everyone at the Hill. I was able to spend the very last days with my mom in peace. Although, her stay was short, I am sure she felt cared for. She didn't speak English but they made her smile and were the most attentive. They followed all Covit guidelines. My mom never had to wait more than 2 mins to be attended. They made us feel like home. I feel at peace. Thank you.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the nurses and volunteers at the hospice and especially Dr Berger. Everyone made sure my father was comfortable and he was never alone. He passed very peacefully and was even in the same room where my mother passed. I hope they are together again. Awesome care by all.

We were so regret to put our dad at the hospice. Although he was weak walking but he was alert and conscious. He didn't have any pain prior the admission. We knew his time was coming and he fell a couple of time at home and with the advice of the palliative doctor, we reluctantly to take him to hospice. On the first day ,we stayed with him most of the time, he was fine when we left and expected to see him the next day. Doctor called the next day to tell us dad fell last night and in pain, gave him painkiller and he never regain concious again and passed that same night. We weren't allowed to stay overnight even the doc said ok. We could had spent the last moments with him. This is hard to accept when he was fine just less than 12 hours ago!!
