Groove Academy - School of Music
My 6-year-old son is starting his 3rd year now taking piano with Groove Academy. He requires a very individualized teaching approach given some learning needs, and he has definitely received this at the academy. His teacher Rachelle has been extremely flexible in adapting to his needs, and as a result, he has learned to read music and is starting to play piano independently. His younger brother is now starting piano as well, and he loves his lessons with his teacher Shannon. They have coordinated their schedules so that the boys can get lessons at the same time, and we have really appreciated this flexibility for our family. Great place!

I take drums lessons from Groove Academy. I've done in person lessons and now Online lessons. They are professional yet friendly. My lessons are drafted to match my skills and it makes the learning part faster, easier and enjoyable.I highly recommend Groove Academy for your music lessons.

Our children (ages 4 and 6) take guitar and violin lessons at Groove Academy. The teachers are very professional and are fantastic with little ones, both for in-person and remote lessons. We love the lesson portal for practice between lessons. We have found everyone flexible, understanding, patient, helpful and kind - an overall excellent environment. Highly recommend!

My son and daughter have been studying piano at Groove Academy for almost two years. They offer lessons for all levels and schedules are very fairly flexible. They have small recitals a few times throughout the year which we like a lot. Both kids like it so much that they always look forward their piano lessons.

My daughter started learning piano at the age of 7. Groove Academy made her feel warm and welcome that is why she always loves to go and learn even on a cold winter days. Highly recommended, as all of their staffs are nice and very helpful. You’re kids will surely learn a lot and will love to learn more.

My boys started lessons at Groove Academy when they were 6 and 7 and continued until they were 16 and 17. They had lessons in drums, flute, piano and bass guitar and enjoyed learning from all their instructors. Anthony and Shannon are still like family to us. The boys are 17 and 19 now and are enjoying playing in their own rock bands.

My son has been taking drum lessons from Groove Academy for over a year now and it’s been a great experience for him, he has learned so much. Everyone is very nice and very professional. In this “new normal” era they’re very accommodating by offering online lessons through Zoom which is awesome...so we didn’t skip a beat:) Thank you Groove

We've been going here for almost 3 years now for my son's drum lessons. Love the family vibe and location here! Also love that they are now offering online lessons. They have a very friendly, informative and patient teacher. They also plan recitals where the students can perform in front of a crowd which is a good experience. Definitely recommend checking it out!

My 7 year old son started piano lessons here and it's coming to a year since he started. He has really learned alot, the instructor is so professional and patient with him. Would highly recommend for those looking for one on one music lessons or even group sessions. They also have day camps for spring break and also summer camp. My son attended the spring break day camp and he really loved it. Great experience overall.
