Had a great time watching The Debaters here. The staff were friendly and helpful in spacing people out for entering and exiting the theatre. Seats were also spaced out which made the show a lot more intimate.

What a gem of an establishment. Even the actors on their talk back said it seemed like a “real” theatre. Hard not to love whatever you see here

Really great theatre with tons of character. Beautiful interior design, well maintained facilities, and a wonderful group of helpful and friendly staff.They host a wide variety of shows here, so definitely worth checking back regularly to see what’s on the docket. We saw Kuroko and it was a a real treat!They have a bar inside. Only downside is the chairs are quite uncomfortable and squeaky, but I guess that’s part of the theatres character.

Good atmosphere and nice, cozy viewing (even near the back). Chairs became a bit uncomfortable after a while, and the triangle rail guards was also uncomfortable to lean on.

Have been to the Cultch twice now for the Cave & Little Willy and seen 2 Cultch offerings at the Playhouse (Sacre & Animal), I have to say that not only is the Historic Theatre a great venue but calibre of shows provided is far beyond what I’d expect of a theatre of its size. Always unexpectedly good, we’ve never seen a show worth less than 4/5 and we a quickly becoming regulars!
