Seriously one of the best bakeries in Buffalo. The staff is super friendly and quick. So many delicious and unique desserts and pastries. I will definitely be coming back!

Ever since my favorite bakery closed during the pandemic, I've been all around WNY (and even tried Southern Ontario) looking for the best croissants in this region.Well, here they are. Amazing, light, flaky, buttery. These are how croissants are supposed to be.

Incredible. Hands down, the BEST croissant I've had outside of France. Better than any bakery in NYC, Miami, Vegas, or any other American food-renown city. I'm appalled that I've only today discovered the utter perfection of Butter Block's goods and am giddy that they're right here in our beloved Buffalo.Their version of a cinnamon bun must be the treat of the gods. Flaky, crispy, yet soft and chewy, just the right amount of sugary sweetness without being obnoxious. I'm just in awe.

This is a divine place!I bought coffee croissant and latte. Croissant is amazing. It's a good combination of filling with bright coffee flavor and puff pastry dough with a high quality of the butter.Latte is awesome. Honestly one of my best cup of coffee.The service is great. The girl who helped me was very nice and pleasant.Just the right combination of everything.Thank you for my great experience!

My husband and I have loved Butter Block pastries for years, so we decided to ask them to make our wedding cake for our very intimate wedding. We went with their basic vanilla bean cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. It was delicious; we loved how the buttercream was not overly sweet and cake was light and delicate. They suggested a 10” one tier cake which was enough for our 21 guests plus us.There was even enough for the middle to be cut and saved for us to freeze and have for our year anniversary, which we weren’t expecting. We didn’t make any special requests on how it should look and we loved how it turned out. We had them deliver it straight to the restaurant; the entire process was easy and stress free. Highly recommend!

Stopped off there during the weekend and they were packed but the line moved quickly. We grabbed a ton of different things, savory and sweet, to try and they were all great. Of all the items, the almond croissant was my favorite. If you order a drink though, it'll take some time, they only have a small espresso machine, but still worth the wait, just grab another pastry to snack on while waiting. I'll definitely be going back again.

What can I say I was in Buffalo for the weekend always finding new places to try when I found this beautiful little bakery. It was about 5 minutes from my downtown hotel and clearly the food did not last long. I went back the very next morning to try their homemade pop tarts and I can honestly say everything I have tried is a 10/10. They sell out fast and for good reason so go early or order the day before online. Now I’m two hours away craving those croissants.
