K-5 Mechanical

If you are in the area and need a mechanic I HIGHLY recommend K-5. They went above and beyond what we could have hoped for when our car decided to have problems 2 days before heading back home. I called around as we needed parts and K-5 managed to fit us in and I couldn’t be happier it was them. Our car was in the right place, we enjoyed the rest of our vacation and the car was ready for when we had to leave. Of course wasn’t an easy fix and they put the hours in to make sure we would make it back home. Couldn’t rave more about them!

Small town living but big city professionalism! If you need auto repair anywhere in the Columbia valley you better make sure you go to K-5 Mechanical!! My car broke down in the middle of summer and nobody would take a look at it for up to 2 weeks :O ! K-5 however was courteous, generous and understanding enough to know that I couldn't drive home (to Victoria) unless I had a car fixed. They managed to take me in upon learning this and despite having a fully stocked schedule worked overtime to ensure that I had an operating vehicle again. I can't guarantee they will be able to do this for anyone but the customer service they provided was phenomenal and in no way can be understated! In addition to that, they provided fantastic rates, and went above and beyond to ensure that other areas of my vehicle were operating in tip top shape. Richard and the team were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy and more than capable to handle anything that comes their way. Thanks again K-5, I'll be sending everybody I know their way!

My girlfriend, dog and I are on a trip around BC and Alberta in our 1977 Chevy van and noticed some troubles as soon as we left Fairmont Hot Springs so we found the closes mechanic and we were so lucky it was K-5. We called to see if they would be able to help and Richard said that he could make some time for us no problem so we drove down and in less then 2 hours and for a reasonable price we were back on the road and have had no problems at all in the days since.

Took my truck to Canadian Tire because I had a leak, they looked at it, took a picture and told me I had a leak in the transmission line. They couldn't fix the leak or top up my transmission fluid , I had to take it to a Dealer !! Well there are no dealers here and it would take 2 trips at least to repair it. I called these guys, they told me not to worry, made room for me the next morning , Christmas Eve Day, fixed it, topped up the fluid and dropped it off at my place of employment for less then it would have cost me in gas to go to a dealer.Excellent service, super nice people, I highly recommend them

These guys are great! I had a very simple fix, but they fit me into their busy day and I was out of there within 10 minutes. Really friendly and community oriented.

Great service! Was here on vacation and got a flat tire. The guy here with Integra tire got me in really quick and even cut off my lugnut key for me to get the tire off. Did a permanent patch and fixed a previous patch done by a different garage that was done poorly. Got our family back home safe on short notice! Highly recommend!

Seriously great service. They were super busy but helped us immediately with flat tire, took 20 minutes. Richard was super friendly, suggested a great place to eat and drove us there while our car was being worked on. I only wish we had this level of service in the 'big city:.

I recently visited K-5 for an out of province insurance inspection and they were amazing!! Great, friendly customer service and amazing rates! Even though I needed this inspection last minute, they were able to squeeze me into their busy day and were super nice about it! They did a thorough inspection of my car and gave me great pointers on what to do next. Even drove me to a local coffee shop while I waited for the work to be done. Super thankful for this reliable and kind local auto shop! I'll be calling these guys again! I'd recommend them to anyone, whether you're passing through or living locally in the area. I had some car issues on the way back to Edmonton from Kimberley this weekend. I called on Monday morning and they were able to squeeze me in to get something done, including having me picked up from my hotel when the car was ready.Thanks so much!
