Pinetree Community Centre
This review is mainly for classes and activities for children. This is a very nice place that has all the amenities. The gyms, and rooms are super great for the different classes.One con is that the water fountain is broken and it doesn't seem to be fixed in the past month or so. Staff is super nice and friendly

Although there is popularity in liking the amenities this community center has, I would have to say the fitness room is disappointing. There is only one squat rack and the lack of cardio equipment, and other usual equipment is not helpful when you use the fitness room during busy times. The fitness room is shared with high-school and college students. There tends to be a daily specific time were the weight room is overcrowded with ignorant school age people (which I find not enjoyable)

Love this community garden. Full of blooming flowers, fruit and veggies. Urban gardens are the bomb. They now have mason bee hotels designed by grade 7 students at St. Johns school. Preserve nature!

Friendly, kind, fun, helpful staff. Everytime I go here, I never have a bad experience. Weekend drop ins are my favorite things to do. The gym is well kept, and the staff participate with you. I love this place and it's location, and staff.

The staff is friendly, beware if you are going anytime around noon or 3 there will be a large presence of school kids. Limited 3 hour parking, $1 an hour to park. Bathroom available, lockers provided (no locks) Room rentals for a reasonable price.

While the equipment and location are great, I remember lots of unprofessionalism with the dodgeball program. Lots of older guys swearing and attacking young elementary school-middle school aged boys. I don't know if it's improved, but I would be careful enrolling yourself or your children in programs with lots of age variation

Came for badminton drop in today, and there were so many people that I couldn’t have a court and did not be welcomed. Not really well organized for the size. Time wasted

I used the badminton courts, and the rating corresponds to that. They have six courts but because of covid only three are available. The pictures show all six. Booking was very easy and also very cheap: $10 for 75 minutes. The check in process was easy and fact. When we were using the courts, we were the only ones (it was during business hours) so we could choose any court we wanted. I will be frequenting this place. Hope to get to try their other facilities as well.
