Sonder Maisonneuve

This is a great place to stay in Montreal. Great location, good service and the room had everything we needed to spend 3 days (very complete kitchenware). The only thing was that room had some dirty towels that were left on the floor when we arrived, that was quickly fixed by the people in front office however it didn't give us the best first impression.It is located in downtown so please expect some noise, luckily they provide ear plugs which I consider a thoughtful detail.

The room we had was very small. That's not terrible for just a couple who is comfortable being close. There was noticeable damage to the paint near the door and everyone in adjacent buildings can see into your room. Overall check in was very easy and simple. I would recommend staying here if you plan on coming for a weekend and not spend much time at the hotel like we did. Also, the hotel did have some amenities that we didn't try out so I can't comment on those.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Sonder Maisonneuve in Montreal and we were thoroughly impressed. The Superior Three-Bedroom Apartment w/ Balcony was a great value for the price. The building itself had lots of amenities including a pool, gym, and luggage storage. The view from our whole unit was absolutely stunning and the space was clean stocked with all the appliances and essentials you'd expect.Having stayed at a number of Sonder hotels, one thing that stood about the Maisonneuve was that unlike many other Sonder hotels, this one actually had a front desk with staff available to assist with any questions or concerns. They greeted us on the way in and it was nice to have them there in case we needed anything.The location of the building was also a major plus. It was right by Guy-Concordia, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Whether I needed to take public transportation or walk, everything was super convenient.Overall, I would highly recommend Sonder Maisonneuve for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Montreal. It wasn't too pretentious or stuffy, just a great spot for a casual and enjoyable stay in a modern space.

I rented a 3-bedroom apartment with friends. The room already showed a lot of wear and tear which is concerning given the relatively young age of the hotel. However, everything worked and it was nice to stay in an apartment with hotel setup. The pool/hot tub was either closed or had very limited hours. We were unable to control the HVAC system despite putting in a help request through the app. The location is very convenient with a metro stop just around the corner on the same block. Though the hotel doesn't include parking, we parked in a garage across the street for a reasonable price and there seemed to be plenty of other options around.

Very wonderful experience at Sonder Maisonneuve! Tidy, cozy, nice kitchen, very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great too next to a metro station and tons of restaurants. Walking distance to downtown and many services too.Their self checkin and checkout in addition to the app they have are very convenient.I have to say that it was mostly clean but the hidden spots (under furniture) and the rug needed better cleaning. The bedsheets were ripped a tiny bit.Overall, I will definitely stay at Sonder in other cities in the future.

My family and I stayed here when we were visiting Montreal and loved it!!! The suites are apartment-style and are very reasonably priced. There is a pool, a hot tub, and two saunas. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy outside since it is close to downtown, but they give you a white noise machine and earplugs which is super nice!

The potential is high for this location and the suites are very cute, but the cleanliness within the unit was below what I would expect. The sheets were full of hairs, the bathroom sink had not been cleaned and the unit overall needed a deep clean. Getting the sheets issue fixed was difficult and I won’t be staying at a Sonder again.

Location was perfect. Our 3 bedroom suite was big and spaces. Balcony was huge with a beautiful view of Downtown Montreal. Cleanliness of the rooms could be way better. There was a big spider web in one of the rooms. Stains on the bedsheet. Dusty floors. Constructions were happening near by which caused sleepless nights. They did provide earplugs but we can still hear the noises.

Some clorox wipes and fresh paint would go a long way. White walls and especially the doors are now dingy and grey with lots of black finger prints. Cleaning services at this sonder is non-existent!! I have stayed at several sonders and this one is by far the dirtiest. There were dirty towels in the main closet. A bag of chips under the bed.Pros:Close to subway/tram and very easy to ride. Get a 3 day pass of week pass if you are staying that time frame. The gym was cleaner than the room and very spacious. Close to MANY food options. Close to shopping and lots if walking if you like that. The rooms in general are big and very modern. Bed were very comfortable. Nice views from room. We were on the 3rd floor.Cons:Need to do a better job at cleaning. On weekends be prepared to hear some louder crowds.

We loved our stay at this property. Great unit in a convenience location (in terms of transit and walking).We opted to check in a little earlier (you can pay for flexibility to check in/out earlier/later). Maybe due to this, there was some confusion and a few staff members came in to check in on us (thank you!) multiple times within an hour of us checking in. It was a little frustrating but overall not a big deal.
