I would definitely recommend dr.smith. I had a medical emergency and went to the Halifax infirmary where I waited 8 hours and they sent me home to take an Advil. I called FYI in the morning as I was sure something wasn’t right. Dr. Smith came in on her day off and took me right away. I did have a medical eye emergency and she had me moved to ophthalmology at Victoria general and seen by a specialist within an hour of her seeing me. I would like to thank her and recommend that anyone needing eye-care see her. She cares and was incredible! She actually didn’t even charge me for the appt she just wanted to make sure I was okay. What a blessing to this community. Thank you so much.

I like going to FYI doctors Spryfield they're always concerned they're exceptionally good with what looks good and what doesn't look good their lenses and their glasses are always in style and they have phenomenal specials and they're always very friendly and the doctors are really really good and the place is really clean and they're just all around know exactly what they're doing I go there every time and I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else

Called yesterday for an appointment, thought it would be weeks/months to get, had an appointment the next day. The staff is wonderful, beautiful bright store with a great selection and good pricing. The doctor was so easy to talk with, very knowledgeable. I highly recommend to everyone. This is my new go to place for myself and the family.

I’ve gone here twice, and it will be the only place I go to for now on. Just had my eyes tested. They were so thorough and professional. I was able to find a set of frames at a very reasonable price. Everybody there was so friendly and helpful!! I pick up my new glasses in a couple of weeks. It was painless. I highly recommend FYidoctors Spryfield!!!

Dr MacAlister has been my optometrist for many years now, and I won't go anywhere else, I have a unique situation and I trust her completely to make the proper adjustments. I travel from an hour away to have my eyes checked once per year. The entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a great clinic you can really trust!

I was in Monday 24.10.2022, to finally get fitted for my glasses. After getting quotes done up, with many options, and alot of time to think of what I wanted to do, with absolutely no pressure, as I am a first time buyer, we spent over an hour and a half, looking through frames, going over packages & so forth. Shaunn was so unbelievably patient, took all the time to explain, to make sure I was happy with my decision. She was very informative, her knowledge was Impeccable. I knew once the transaction was complete, that when the time comes to pick up my glasses, I will be very Satisfied.Thank you for making this very stressful situation very easy process.

We had an appt at the Spryfield location and the staff went above and BEYOND catering to the special needs of our family for the appointment; whoever does their hiring must ensure every staff member is knowledgeable, kind and non-judgemental and it certainly shows in the level of service they provide. Their entire team should be proud of themselves for being auch an outstanding provider for our community.
