Very disappointing dining experience. Firstly, we had a booking made for 8pm and had received confirmation of this, but on arrival there was no record of our booking. Luckily (or unluckily!) a table was available outside. However, having waited over an hour for our food to be served (main course only), it turned out to be bland and uninteresting. Hunger was our only sauce! When we enquired about dessert (not offered), we were informed that their only dessert, tiramisu, was finished but they could offer us vanilla ice cream! We declined this and finished our drinks while chatting. Just then the staff started clearing up around us, moving tables and chairs inside, to the point that we were left sitting alone in the empty area, while twice being asked if we were okay. Talk about being rushed out and this was only 10.05pm! Overall, a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend. Beware!!!

I recently visited an Italian restaurant with my friends and had a great experience. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the staff was very attentive throughout our meal. We started with some delicious appetizers which were beautifully presented and full of flavor.For the main course, we had a variety of pasta dishes that were cooked perfectly and had the perfect balance of seasoning. The quality and taste of the food was top notch!The service was excellent and I was very impressed with how quickly our meals came out. The prices were reasonable and the overall experience was very enjoyable.I would definitely give this Italian restaurant 4 stars for its great food, friendly service, and overall wonderful atmosphere.

Popped in while walking along Davie. Looked cozy.Absolutely fantastic food, homemade sauce and pasta. Great location.. this is the place you want to eat pasta. Luca, was excellent as a server, and good humour. We will be back again, next trip to Vancouver.

Great food and overall good service. Bad experience with staff member who verbally assaulted homeless man collecting cans from a garbage can located in the community square which was not property of the establishment. Due to that outburst and lack of showing humanity in a square dedicated to community and respect for the less advantaged? I will no longer support this establishment and will recommend to the regulars that I know that eat there to also discontinue their support.Too bad because the food is fantastic as are the rest of staff. Unfortunately this one female staff member ruined the atmosphere and showed a terrible way of dealing with a situation which was not disrupting anyones dining. I surely hope she is not in a management position. I have been a west end resident for over 20 years and i have never seen an establishment in the west end treat an underprivileged individual who was doing no harm so poorly. Most establishments show humanity in the west end and turn their energy towards making it a stronger community. Attacking a harmless can collector does not make for a stronger community.If people collecting bottles is such a distress on the establishment perhaps ask the city to move the garbage can further away from the restaurant? Go figure such a simple solution would be thought of other than humiliating a poor man and creating a scene.Thank You

Came in on my anniversary and it was sublime. Manager called me ahead of time to confirm the reservation and let me know the closing hour. The Crostini was excellent. The Lasagna was perfect and the special ravioli with mushroom truffle was beautiful. I would definitely come back.

Came in around opening on Wednesday. Menu is succinct but with some true gems. Be sure to listen out for any specials that may be available.We shared the bruschetta to start. For mains, I went with the ravioli burro e salvia (butter and sage). It was a large portion with very well cooked raviolo.Service was friendly. Definitely a neighbourhood gem for Italian food.

Very cute Italian restaurant, small and local. The service is also good and the server is very nice. However the food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be.Ordered the carpaccio for the appetizer and it wasn’t what we expected. On the menu it said “ Beef Carpaccio, Arugula Salad with flakes of Parmesan Cheese”. But when it came, it didn’t come with arugula (see photos). Also the beef just tasted like hard salami. Not sure if this is how they eat beef carpaccio in Italy.The carbonara pasta was too peppery and salty. The bolognese was too watery and bland.Overall, unfortunately don’t recommend this place.

Such a lovely restaurant with a really cute, date night vibe. Had a lovely table right by the window and the most attentive, helpful waiter. I came here specifically to try the carbonara and I was not disappointed - the best one I’ve had in Vancouver to date - made the authentic, Italian way! I will be back for sure :)
