Michelle is the absolute best colourist I have used in my 30-plus years of salon colouring. She makes recommendations but also always takes the time to listen to me. When I leave, my colour is perfect and stays fresh-looking between visits. Plus, her upbeat personality makes my day!Customer service is top-notch. All the salon staff is friendly and professional.

Taz hair is definitely the best salon I’ve been to. I am always super impressed with my haircuts by Rino! He knows how to give me exactly what I want/what my hair needs. The rest of staff are very kind and welcoming also! Always a good experience here! I will certainly be coming back for all my future hair needs :)

Second time getting my hair did there. ALL THE STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND SO FRIENDLY!! Morgan, Nate, and Kevin are the most genuine and incredible stylists. They are so accomodating, helpful, easy to talk to while giving you the exact experience you are expecting and the exact hair you imagined before coming! I had an excellent experience at Taz. The receptionist was so pleasant when booking and during checkout. I was warmly welcomed by the staff upon entering the salon. Rino is truly talented! He is very knowledgeable and gave me an amazing haircut that was true to what I asked for. My hair was very dry when I walked in. Leaving, I felt that I had the healthiest hair. Denise is highly skilled, consistently delivers amazing haircuts, and always makes my vision a reality. Michelle is a true professional, very intuitive, patient and leaves my hair looking vibrant every time. I’ve been seeing Rino and Bouchra for years! They are experts who always do a great job and are very professional. The salon is focussed on creating a professional, client-centred experience. Now my children prefer to go here too, to Denise and Angela. Highly recommend!

I'm not impressed with this hair salon and I'm surprised it has so many positive reviews. I got my hair done here on September 27, 2022. I booked online and selected full highlights and women's haircut. For some reason they charge new clients up to $50 more for the same service, which I've never seen at any other hair salon before and doesn't make much sense to me at all.The colourist was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing, and my hair looked nice after the colour was washed out and my hair was blow-dried. The stylist who cut my hair was also friendly enough but he didn't seem to cut that much of my hair even though it was pretty damaged and we agreed that he should cut off 1.5-2 inches of hair. He gave me some waves/curls with a straightener that unfortunately fell flat within 20 minutes of leaving the salon, but I wasn't going anywhere that I needed my hair nicely styled for.I followed the colourist's directions and didnt wash or wet my hair until 3 days after the appointment. However, after washing my hair a few times, I can say it doesn't look much different and actually feels worse. My coworkers who I saw today for the first time since my haircut didn't notice anything different and were shocked to hear I paid $400 for it. Overall I would not recommend this hair salon and will not be going back.I've also attached pictures to this review. The first picture was taken on September 22, the second picture was taken right after my hair was done (Septemeber 27), the third picture was taken today (October 8), the fourth picture is what I showed the colourist as a reference point for what I wanted. The first and third pictures were taken in the same location with the same lighting. I didnt style my hair the same way in both but the colour is my main concern. After just a handful of washes it looks almost exactly the same as before and doesn't resemble the reference picture.

I have been coming to Taz since they opened 12 years ago. I have been extremely happy with all the services I have received over the years at Taz. From their lovely esthetician Ewa, cuts by Carol, balayage from Morgan as well as colouring from Michell and Kevin - their staff always goes above and beyond to make sure their client is happy. The energy is great in the salon and the salon’s manger Erin is beyond amazing. I am grateful this place is so close to my home, prior to this I felt that I was moving salons every 2-3 years when staff changes happened. It’s rare to find a place that has the depth of talent and it’s the reason I have been coming here all these years.

I absolutely love this place, I have been coming here for almost a year seeing Nate for my hair colour and Kim for my hair cut services. Nate is the best colorist I have ever seen, I never thought I could go blonde! He is honest and transparent about what he can do without damaging my hair, I love him so much. He goes above and beyond for his clients. His blow outs are FAB.I am always amazed with his services and his friendliness, one of my fav past times is spending time with him. I will not see any other stylist than Kim, she is so down to earth and does an amazing job on her cuts. She is so sweet and does such a good job, she gives the best head massages I've ever had!!!! This place is professional, quality products, good pricing for the quality you're receiving, reception is so efficient and sweet. Never leaving this place. I'm so amazed and treated like family each time. I used to work in a salon and this is by far, the best one I've found in Toronto. They care about their clients and making them feel good about themselves. Thank you Taz Kingsway!!
