We didn't expect it to be so beautiful, or how close we would be to the river! Hiked the main loop trail at a leisurely pace, little over 2 hours. Definitely a moderate level hike!! Very grateful for recommendation to grab walking stick by stair base.

What a beautiful spot! So glad we decided to take the scenic route! The pictures don't do it justice! We had such a great time visiting the falls that we're going back next weekend! We highly recommend taking the scenic route around the Falls! So worth it!

This place is just so pretty. An amazing example of how gorgeous Ontario is! The location sits at the top of the Niagara gorge with impressive vistas of the canyon and blue/green river below. There's a manicured picnic area with outdoor BBQs up top complemented by limited parking at $5/60 min. Venture down an intimidating staircase and you're rewarded with rugged hiking terrain comprising massive bolders (a pastime for many visitors), natural stone staircases, forest, and a beautiful river walk. There are lots of trails to explore with terrain suitable for a novice hiker. We completed ours in 3 hours with a few lengthy detours and waterside pit stops. Recommend you bring water and a small pack to carryout any litter you bring in (soda cans, water bottles, etc).

Absolutely breath taking view of the translucent blue gushing waters of the Niagara River! The hike is well marked all along and worth every decent down under. Easily accessible by Niagra GO train and North Wego bus thereafter.

1st time ever going on the trail Definitely was not prepared to be in there for hours therefore With a little bit of water. There are a lot of neat and interesting things to explore a lot of different trails.. We were crazy enough to go off trand better views

We just made a quick drive by exploration. looks like there is a very nice hiking trail at the bottom of the scary metal staircase. Not scary in terms of unsafe, just in terms of my acrophobia. anyway, the nature center was closed for winter but thankfully the bathrooms were open and clean.

The trails are lovely, there are multiple trails to choose from.. the best trail was the purple line to the whirlpools... its a scenic trail & not too difficult. However it's best to avoid the trails if it rains.
