Not recommended at ALL!!!I'm a resident of Red Deer and I came specially to eat Iraqi Falafel, but they don’t have bread to make us any.My daughter asked for cheese pita pie, they don’t have.However, I was surprised of the expensive, poorly served ,over coocked plates for burger that comes without any fries.Fridge temperature bread for our wraps and Microwaved poutine for my son.And on top of all this ..No hand washing, after mopping the floor in between making a wrap and touched food bare handed. I don't think they have food handling knowledge at all.Save your money and time

To me, making Shawrma & Falafel as well is an art.I immigrated to Canada 8 years ago and I’ve tried sooo many places in BC and other places and this week i was visiting Edmonton so i thought I’ll try Abu Nawras. I’ve never been satisfied with any place more than this place.The making of the sandwich, the bread of the sandwich, the way they cook and cut the shawrma, the garlic sauce, pickles, price, service…etc everything you taste in here is unforgettable.Thank you Abu Nawras for the best food we’ve had in years man .

Decided to try this food for a big family iftar and to say the least it's inedible. The pita part is the equivalent of chips, the meat looks like canned dog food, probably taste the same too. It came from the restaurant to the trash. Apparently a plate costs too much for them so its just dumped in the plastic bag while hot. Save your time and appetite and go to some respectable place.

Best food quantity and cleanliness and serviceI love everything on his menu from meat on pita , the dough is crispy and the meat is tasty, Hummus, Fava Beans, Falafel, Shawarma, pita sandwiches (manakeish), . The prices are very reasonable as well,

This is the best falafel i ate so far in Canada. They were very delicious and he knew how to serve the food to make it even more delicious. They fava bean was so very good as well. The restaurant is quite simple and offers nice variety of food. Their service is very nice and kind. I cannot be more happy to have a typical middle eastern (Egyptian) breakfast
