We renovated our 1915 home 14 years ago & found wood floors under carpet in our bedrooms. We took out the wood & relaid all the wood on our 1st floor. That was the hard part. We had Sandman come in & resand our floors, as they were all different shades of wood due to age. Our maple flooring turned out beautiful & we love them just as much now as we did when first sanded. We decided to keep them natural as the refinishing brought out the real beauty of the wood. We have had dogs in our family & still do & the floors have held up as well. I would suggest to refinish your floors as you will never regret. Sandman did a great job above my expectations. They will teii you what they can do, How they will do it & give you suggestions.
