Forward Together...?Seriously?Considering your absolute inaction regarding DTES?You are misrepresenting yourself.THIS IS A HOUSING CRISIS WITH CANADIAN CITIZENS RESIDING ON THE SIDEWALK AND ALL YOU DO IS MOVE THEM ABOUT PLACE TO PLACE!As I see it you have three options.1. Choose the homeless over entitled Athletes. Give them the soccer field. There are bathroom and shower facilities there. You could buy yourself time. Send advocates in and house them as places come available. There is more than enough room to set up a cop shop and paramedic base.2. Block off Hastings at main and Abbott. Let them camp on the street away from the buildings. Leave a lane open to service vehicles. Again, this buys you time to find spaces for these poor souls.3. OPEN RIVERSIDE!!?? Mental health issues are a very large component of what's happening here.Unless you do something immediately, you will not get a vote from me. Or anyone I've spoken to...Please try compassion.

Nice appearance..But actually being able to get a point across is a disappointment. This city is turning into a mini Detroit. It's filthy and he has ordered all City Vancouver Police NOT to police and enforce the law and safety in the East Vancouver ateas

Stanley ParkWe recently drove into Stanley Park for the very first time and proceeded to park our vehicle and took our two dogs out for a walk. Upon our return to our vehicle, about an hour later, there was a paper on our windshield. It was a parking violation. We did not see any visible information indicating that this was pay parking. We submitted a dispute with easypark and were quickly turned down. Then a message from them indicated that following a dispute they would honor the original cost (55.00) but when I had to pay it with their website that was not possible and I was forced to pay the going rate (70.00). This service is a scam as I see it. Sighs are posted in remote areas. A tourist trap.that's my rant for now.Bob Montgomery

I came to Vancouver for new years and even though this city seems ideal for an amazing fire world you dummies didn’t put one on . Common cities like Sydney and New York get insane tourist to visit for their fireworks. Yet Vancouver has non !!! Why there is no reason you should do this . It is cowardly. Do better the citizens and tourists who visit you on new years one of the best night to go out of the year deserve better . Zero stars

A mayor that doesn’t respond to taxpayer emails.A virtue signalling fool that wastes our tax dollars on expensive office furniture and frivolous lawsuits targeting oil and gas. All the while, permits drag on forever, our streets are filthy, we have a homeless and opioid crisis, small businesses have been destroyed by nanny state policies. Property Taxes and fees are ballooning, services are eroding. Our city is becoming a toilet like SanFrancisco. This pathetic excuse for a mayor is invisible to everyone, but Twitter. Who approves of this clown? Who in their right mind would vote for him again? Make a change and vote to remove him on October 15!!!!

Mayor Stewart is the worst mayor ever. Under his leadership Vancouver has become a haven for criminals. It now reminds me of New York in the 70s when it was dubbed the rotten apple. He has raised taxes yet lowered civic standards and services such that people don't feel safe anymore.

In the last 3 years I’ve gone from feeling safe to having to watch my back. It’s crazy downtown.

Downtown Vancouver looks like hell on earth. He would know this to actually be true if he stepped out from his bubble. He did nothing to help this but be offended when the obvious was pointed out.
