One of the few gas stations within a little village in the North. The village itself is not necessarily a sightseeing place but a nice change to the hardly unpopulated area around. Diesel is also available. The little shop connected to the station provides the traveller with most necessary products, quantity selection and prices naturally subject to the remoteness.

Besides fuel there is lots of variety in the convenience store including a liquor store. The Petro-Canada is a good place to fuel up if you are going north on Hwy 37 because there is very little to choose from until the Yukon.

I love going through Canada. The kindest people. Just stopping for gas is a great break. The drive through is long but kind people make it so much easier.

Gas prices 2020/9/15: Kitwanga 1.13 / Dease Lake 1.39 / Alaska hwy junction 1.29 / Watson Lake 1.13 / Whitehorse 1.19. I was advised to fill up because there might be no more gas stations for the next cca 450 km (until Teslin). That is not true. Also, check your bill at the gas station store, I was charged wrong for two out of four purchased items (both times in their favor).

The stewed squirrel was delicious however the prices were outrageous! My son wanted a cold drink and all they had was chilled green bean juice which we purchased and made him sick. Also we purchased some hot chili flame broiled peanuts that gave the whole family gas! BEWARE of your purchases
