Madras Club House
Great place, authentic South Indian cuisine and great staff. As a South Indian, Sambaar and coconut chutney is my deciding factor for any South Indian place and they deliver on both. Well done!

Excellent customer servicePriced fairlyGreat foodInviting atmosphereThe owner and workers at Madras Club Cafe were very inviting and had a smile on their faces throughout our dine in. They made sure we were comfortable and checked on us a couple times and had some of the best customer service I've seen at restaurants. The food was priced fairly and 2 can dine in for $30 and be full. The food also tasted different than most restaurants as they have their own unique spin on it with the spices which mimicks Korean foods. It's interesting. A great place to come alone, with a friend, and with family, highly recommend a visit!

Madras Club House
This is our second visit. The first time we came there was very less salt in all their dishes including chutney and sambar. This time they were good. We tried onion uthapam, chillie idli and onion rava mysore masala dosa. All of them tasted good. Sambar is also good compared to other restaurants where we have had South Indian food. Would recommend this place for their food and service both are good. Some pics of dosa from our previous photos attached.

We went to this restaurant with high hopes as the name Madras just captivated our attention. We were totally disappointed the moment we entered the restaurant. Not well kept place. Ambiance was exactly as a low-class local restaurant in India with old unused furniture kept right in the front of the entrance sitting there as a Huuuuuge eyesore for customers. But who cares about that?We ordered Coffee, that came in tiny cups. It was fine but not good. Dosa was okay. Idli was decent BUT, if you ask any Indian, Sambar is the soul of south indian food and that totally destroyed our dining delight here. The cook added loads of hot water as it is done in India making it over diluted, watery, low flavored hot water drink. It was a shame that they served the same disgraced diluted Sambar with all servings that we ordered.We did not like the food and dining experience here. Servers were okay but were so dull and sleepy it seemed. We are not going to go there again.

Great place and nice food. The service was good and affordable price. Tried their appies and main course. Everything was perfect. Worth visiting if you miss tasty food.

I tried couple of times here. Again decent briyanis. Quantity of meat in the briyani and it is very good and price of the food are cheaper than other restaurants. If you are from Tamil Nadu and love to have Chennai style briyani, this is decent place. One thing is that you can’t expect the same briyani alike from Chennai. I think they precooked or make the briyani meat masala and cook with rice and serve it. Yes here in Canada, in the restaurant they only do that.I’m from Coimbatore, desperately loving to have seraga samba briyani, but bad luck I can’t find in any restaurants in Canada. ✌️

Excellent food and service. We Have been a customer many years. This is a family run restaurant that works hard to put out good quality food consistently. Our favs are Onion Rava Mysore masala, Udappam, spring masala dosa and the lamb pepper fry is a must have for my daughter with parantha. We always finish with south indian filter coffee....If you have never tried this coffee....please do! Staff is very nice and make us feel at home. I have taken many non indian friends here also and they love coming here. Well done Kannan and Chandra

We went on a weekday to this place and the food was awesome. We ordered rava masala dosa, chicken chukka with parotta and chettinad soup. They are all freshly made and taste was top notch. True south indiaRestaurant recommend people giving it a try. Price is competitive to other indian restaurants in Surrey. Only complaint is the bathroom was not maintained clean when we visited.

Madras Club House
This place was recommended to us by some friends - and I'm very glad I took their advice. At first glance this place looks like a bit of a dive, but I assure you the food makes up for the venue. We found that all of the staff members were extremely kind and happy to help. The dosa are best I've had in the city, I recommend the spring dosa. The chili paneer is another must-have item here. Highly recommend!!
