Monarch Park Outdoor Pool
One of the few pools with shallow, deep and extra deep sections. Diving board and 2 story water slide. Water was super clear and just warm enough. Lots of lifeguards too. Drop in Family time on weekends 12 -8pm

Love this pool! Great deep end with diving board, and wading pool that the kids seemed to be loving. Awesome to come here on a hot day!

Great pool with a little splash pad area for tiny kids. You don't need to queue for the kiddos pool but you will probably have to for the adults. Especially if it's nice and the weekend.

Centrally located in a beautiful park. A popular pool for families. It has a 1-meter diving board, along with a slide and a kiddie wadding pool. Plus, ya know, the pool. The facilities are good. Plentiful showers.

I'm genuinely sorry to have to say this, but the hygiene at this pool is not good. Either the City of Toronto is cutting back on cleaning and maintenance, or the pool attendants are not doing a proper job.Late July/early August '22 the women's lavatories are in a devastating condition: paper deterring on the floor, bins full (obviously for days), only one sink working.I came swimming 4-5 times in the morning, and fished out melted freezie packages and a Sars-Cov-2 mask. When engaging the pool attendants, they seemed rather indifferent to the idea of cleaning the pool before opening. Lifeguards are on watch, but other workers at the entrance seem to be just bored to death and sit on their phones. Most recently, I fished out a dead mouse from the pool. This last incident was not reported, as other pool guests wanted to avoid evacuation. Frankly, this incident is the reason I'm writing this review.Surprised to see that the pool passed the standard hygiene test, I would suggest doing more and frequent unannounced visits to ensure lavatories and changing rooms stay clean. Hygiene standards are imperative in an age of pandemics! It seemed that pool attendants were not aware of their possible duties (apart from life-guarding and letting swimmers in).I hope somebody from the City of Toronto reads this review.
