Parkhill Boat Launch
Free parking and water access for non-motorized boats (canoe/kayak). The bed of the reservoir consists mainly of clay so the water is usually very dirty, and you may get some clay in your boat as well. The fishing was very unproductive on the warm fall day we visited, only seeing carp at the shallow end of the reservoir in 2-3 ft of water. Closer to the dam, the reservoir has depth of over 15 ft. The only other signs of life we saw were a couple small turtles and a few birds. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to paddle around, but I can't recommend this for bass fishing.

No power boats allowed however I have seen guys with bass boats using electric trolling motors. I go to kayak. Excellent place, beautiful trees and today I even saw a bald eagle.

Nice little spot! Spacious and not hard to launch from there. Nice scenery but it can get a little windy as there’s a lot of open space so keep that in mind if you’re rowing. There’s no dock so it can get a little muddy coming in and out the water.
