Riverview Meat Market Chester
I’m from the GTA and when visiting family in the Basin we’d often pass this place. It looks a bit sketchy, but I’m so thankful I decided to stop and have a look. I now get my fix of scallops, smoked bacon and smoked salmon here. It’s like going back in time to the mom and pop shops that used to be all over rural Canada. It has a rustic charm some people may not appreciate, but I’m so happy I found this little gem.

Riverview Meat Market Chester
This place is a valuable lesson in not judging a book by its cover. The small unassuming shop is easily passed, but once you make your way to the counter at back you'll be glad you stayed. Great steaks and seafood, sliced and preserved meat, and wonderful cold smoked salmon are available here for fairly reasonable prices. Every time we visit the area we go to this great spot.

I love stopping in here to buy some fresh Beef Jerky! One of the best places for smoked meats and it's a lot cheaper than the grocery store. I definitely recommend checking it out... Do yourself a favor and buy 20 dollars worth of beef jerky.. I swear you could live off of it. So good.
