I have bought a number of Aesop products for myself and for gifts. I try to support the Gastown shop. Today I was drawn in by some facial products in the window. I have never used creams and lotions on my face. The person working in the shop could not have shown less interest in me and my questions. I stayed to look around and a man came in. He got a lot more attention, but her manner was stand-offish —even snobby. I left. I see no point in supporting that shop. I will go to one of the other Aesop shops in Vancouver.

I have always admired the Aesop brand but found it hard to justify their prices so I never really went in. I fell in love with their Resurrection hand wash and balm after using it at Pavilion Cowork and had to check out the store. Jordan & Melissa were so knowledgeable and welcoming. They asked how your skin was and if you had any concerns. It’s been maybe 3 months since the first time I walked in and I’ve been back at least 5 times and now have soaps, balms, toner, oils & cologne from here. I have to say that the quality of their products align with their prices. I never really appreciated or wanted to use products I had before because I didn’t love them. They were cheaper to buy but what’s the point of being cheaper when you don’t use it or you use it because you’re supposed to. Aesop gets me excited to wash my face, use toner, use moisturizer, mouthwash, wash my hands and put lotion on because I love how their products feel and smell. Melissa got me hooked on Rozu when she sprayed my shopping bag with it. I came back a few days later and bought it. Love it at Gastown. Did not love the experience at the other locations.

Jordan helped me to find the best gift for my best friend☆☆☆ She was very friendly and knowledgeable as everyone said exactly on google reviews! I am very happy to have chosen this store! I will definitely recommend this store/brand to my friends and family, and go back to get some perfume, skincare and hair products for mine:)

I just bought some hand cream, and the staff was so kind and professional that I felt comfortable while choosing what I wanted to buy. I found one quickly and it smells so good on my hands! Also, I was very happy when the staff member sprayed perfume in the gift bag for me. Thank you :) I want to try other products next time!!

I just left the Gastown location and my experience was the best service I had in retail in a very long time. Nicole was a beauty, she listened to my needs and gave me a skin care routine plan with the products that suited my needs. She was calm, attentive and simply wonderful.I will definitely be returning to see them very soon.

Exceptional customer service, possibly best I’ve had hands down. Blake was so nice & helpful, very knowledgeable with the products. He was very easy to talk to and explained everything to me about different cleansers & how they should feel/work etc. thanks again Blake! You’re awesome :-)

Jordan helped us and made it a great experience! She was very kind and knowledgeable. Also wasn't pushy and let us discover things on our own, but could sense when we needed help or had questions, and put in effort to make it a great all-around shopping experience for us.The store itself and the products are of course great as well, as it's what you expect from Aesop.Will definitely return!
