Yahk Provincial Park

Phenomenal campground! The sites are large and well spaced allowing for privacy. There were outhouses, water, and bear proof garbage and recycling cans throughout. The toilets were EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I usually absolutely ABHOR vault toilets for cleanliness reasons but these were so incredibly clean, there was zero concern at all with using them. I seriously mean, they were so clean it looked like no one had used them!The ranger was super friendly! I couldn't believe this place was only $21 a night for all that you get!! Highly recommended! There is a train that goes by, it went by once at 3 am ish and another time at about 6 am as far as I recall, but it didn't last too long.Great campground!!

A beautiful, well-kept campground but it was quite noisy with highway traffic and trains. The drinking water was not good as it tasted odd and had green sludge that ended up at the bottom of my water bottle. Maybe I missed the water-not-potable sign.

Fantastic Campground. Clean, well maintained and landscaped. Outhouses were super clean. Park staff were friendly. Nice river through it. Only thing was that there were so many bog beautiful trees, there was very little sunlight for our solar panels, but it was a minor thing. We would definately come back

We went on the August long weekend with no reservations and we will managed to get a site. Sites were clean and spacious. Trees for our hammocks. The worst part was how close the campsite is to the railroad as we could hear the train and the whistle going by very late at night.

A nice clean campground- park ranger was really friendly - be prepared for a lot of bugs - I think they need to always be able to take credit cards. Typical provincial camp site with lots of trees and space between sites - there aren't any showers here and no power or water at the site but there is potable water available

Lovely little campground (as long as some highway and train noise doesn't bother you). Pit toilets and potable water available.

Love the campsite and attendees that look after The campground , they are very personable and polite people. Rick particularly. Clean and shady close to the towns cranbrook and Creston. Nice feature of the Moyie river that runs around the campground.

A nice campground between the Moyie River and the #3 highway . . . with the railway just beyond the road and train crossings with blaring horns throughout the night.

Absolutely our biggest surprise on our first part of a trip. We planned to stay by the lake, but there was no available spot by the time we arrived. We kept going west and took Yahk Provincial Park as our next option. Daniel was very friendly, campground super clean as I had a feeling we are at some high end golf course (yes, all raked and tidy). The best value for money we spent in last month. Thank you

This park is a gem to a traveller. The sites are very well kept by a really friendly caretaker named Richard. Very little traffic on highway or on rail during the night hours. Bathrooms are kept clean and sanitary. Fresh water at the taps. The stream is over fished but many will spend the time on the prestine waters trying.
