Artisan Log and Timber Homes

The Artisan team did top-shelf work for us. The first time I saw the logs assembled it took my breath away. These guys are professional, have a high standard for craftsmanship and worked efficiently. And they're good people. We're still in mid-build as shown in the photos but just check out those logs!

Artisan log homes built a beautiful, hand crafted log home for our family over 30 years ago on Big Bar Lake. The construction and craftsmanship was second to none and to this day is still as beautiful & structurally sound as the day it was completed. They not only build amazing log homes; but also dreams. The home they built has been a retreat for friends and family for decades and will still be standing decades from now. I cannot recommend them enough. Top notch in every way!

Artisan Log Homes supplied and installed the log frame, rafters, roof framing and floor framing for our Rotary Interpretive Centre at Derek Doubleday Arboretum in Langley. They went above and beyond to ensure the project turned out beautifully. Josh and co were amazing to work with and it was clear they genuinely cared about the quality of the building, both aesthetically and functionally.We threw a pretty aggressive time line at them and they delivered. 10 out of 10, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

It was great working with Josh and George on our new home. It wasn't an easy build and their expertise was invaluable in the success of the project. We have been in our beautiful log home now for four years and each time we are here, we still marvel at the craftsmanship and artistry of this fabulous work of art. Our family and friends feel the same, even our next door neighbour has commented that our house is the most beautiful in Pender Harbour. Josh answered our questions quickly and informatively and recommended an architect to draw up the Post & Beam plans that we had a great experience with.Even though we were 1600 miles from Josh and never met him or saw their log yard, through written and spoken communication and sharing of pictures of the active process, we had a high level of comfort with his business to proceed with a staged plan. Josh communicated well, staging the payments and process to mitigate risk, and sending pictures and regular phone calls describing each step.Once the structure was complete, he and George flew to Arizona and assembled it over the course of three days. They worked quickly, with outstanding workmanship and stayed within budget. Over a course of seven months, we were elated with the product as it was impressive and beautiful.Artisan Log and Timber Homes offered outstanding customer service, kept a tight schedule and the experience was a pleasure.

Unfortunately we were ghosted after leaving a 50% deposit for our wedding. Even with a small claims court order we are still having to chase up getting our money back. It's a huge shame as the place looked beautiful and we were looking forward to having our wedding here. But he completely stopped communication and left us out of pocket and with no venue.Thank you for your reply. Since the president of Artisan log is the same as Artisan Log Lodge I assume it's directed towards the right company/ owners? (As per info found on your site) I'm more than happy to get rid of my comment if Rob Littler can please address the small claims court order. If I'm incorrect and this is a different company altogether, please let me know and i'll delete my comment. I have no intention of causing harm to any business I just want my deposit back.

excellent craftsmanship and detailed workon my custom log home . looked after any/ all adjustments needed and quality of logs used are excellent. Highly recommend Josh and his entire team at Artisan . Thanks !

Artisan Log Homes and Josh were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Josh was very responsive to our questions, and was very helpful in the planning process. Josh and Max supervised the build and we were able to complete the build in 3 1/2 days. The quality and workmanship was top notch. I would highly recommend them if you are looking at building a log home or purchasing one of their log home kits.

We had the privilege to prep and stain an Artisan Log home in the fall. When you have been in the industry for 3 generations as we have, you see it all. Their craftsmanship and quality of logs lives up to their name. When communicating with the owner to coordinate, he was responsive, professional and approachable.
