Far exceeded our expectations from the design phase to the end product. We met Ken from MyDeck in January of 2021 to discuss deck on our new home. We had contracted another local contractor in March of 2020 to build us a deck in the summer of 2020, that was a horrible experience and it never got built.When Ken arrived he discussed in detail what we wanted, and made it very clear that all work would be permitted, inspected and done only to code. They did not cut corners.A price was provided, an estimate of starting in late April or early May, and we signed an agreement.Between the time we contracted with MyDeck and the install, lumber prices skyrocketed. I expected to hear that our price was going to change. Ken assured us that he was going to keep true to his estimate.Jordan and crew arrived in early May as promised. They were professional and very polite. The deck was nearly finished in the first week and we were very happy with the result.Our final payment was due upon inspection by the City of Ottawa. The City was quite backed up and it took several months. In the interim we offered to pay the last third of the bill, but Ken insisted that the last payment was not due until inspection, so we were to wait.Finally the inspector came in August. All was perfect, the city inspector commented on how well engineered the deck was and we paid the final bill.We could have found cheaper - we talked to a few contractors who offered to do the job without permits" to save money

We had an amazing experience with Ken and his team at MyDeck! Everything from start to finish was smooth and stress free. Ken and his team were professional and always available if we had any questions. Our new deck was even installed earlier than planned! We were impressed with the entire process as the team was so easy to work with. We love our new deck and would absolutely recommend MyDeck!
