Couldn't be happier with my gel nails. I've tried a few places around the city and the gel nails I have had done here are the best by far. Very reasonable price and a very happy relaxed atmosphere. I usually make an appointment but I've never seen them turn away a walk in.

Tina is Amazing! I’d have to say she is one of the best Nail Techs I’ve come across. It’s hard finding a quality (which means proper shaping, colour application and cleanliness) Nail Techs. I used to go to Bellagio nails in Calgary and always just felt rushed which really takes away from the experience. It’s not like committing to monthly or even bi weekly nails is cheap. It does add up. So quality in a Tech goes a long way. My first experience with Tina was super friendly and she made me feel so comfortable. She is always giving me advice on how to take better care of my nails and skin. Today, she even gave me a little hand massage. She certainly goes the extra mile for her tried and true clients. I would 100% recommend Tina, as I already do to my girlfriends who ask :) I will never go anywhere else in Calgary.

My new favourite nail salon! I was greeted by friendly staff, and lots of colours to choose from! My nails were done beautifully, I am more than happy with the way they turned out. A lot of care was put into them, best set of gel nails I've ever gotten!

I really enjoyed my first experience at Candy. Staff were knowledgable, friendly and kind!! Great working doing my nails, reasonable pricing.

Tina did an amazing job on the line work in this design. It is so difficult to find great nail artists who aren’t rushing or distracted by everything else happening around them. Even the shape and length are perfect. No bubbles or sharp edges. 100% recommend.

My friend/Neighbour offered to treat us to a deluxe pedicure and nail set, which I was thrilled about and very excited. She suggested Candy Nails, saying that was her old nail place and she missed going there because of how thorough, clean and reasonably priced they were. When I went online to find price list and Check out the website I did not find anything but a Facebook page which didn’t show any prices just a sign that said 25% off from February 2021. Sadly I got the cringe factor upon walking in and seeing the nail polish at the front of the shop. Most of the colours were separated, dry and crusty looking. I like to give places benefit of the doubt before judging, my instincts were correct. We were briefly greeted then shown to our station after picking the colours (they didn’t have a swatch for regular colours) Making good use of the massage chair, my hand kept getting stuck to something that was dried sticky on the side or the remote. A woman came in about 10 mins after us sat beside me was in and out in about 30 mins, they knew her name and were very kind to her (maybe she’s a regular) our pedicures took roughly a hour my friend was even longer.I found it strange that the woman doing the pedicure was all over the place not really any flow to the pedicure at all, did not start washing my feet first or put the cuticle soften on, used the sponge scrubber to clean my feet which was really filthy and I still have a lot of callous on the heel of my foot. The women beside us got metal blade, my friend requested it and they told her she would get cut because her feet were to soft. I was actually in quite a bit of pain because she was using the cuticle cutters to clean the side of my nail bead, which I could not express to her because of the language barrier (my big toes are red a throbbing still) when it was time to do the polish she never separated my toes so of course they were touching and few toes have blemish on them as well the polish was almost empty which didn’t make for a smooth finish. She finished and smiled and then just walked away and left me in the chair. I immediately alerted another woman who noticed the blemish and actually separated my toes and then added acetone to the polish and gave me sandals showed me to where I was going to get my nails done, my neighbour got the same polish colour and it took an additional 20/30mins to apply which they did not give her sandals to come over to her station. After being there for over 2.5 hours I started noticing that the girls would start and the other woman who fixed myToe polish would go and finish or “fix” the others jobs. I do feel for the her, as it was seemingly causing her a lot of stress and to be rushed which made a relaxing experience very uncomfortable. My nail set looked good but some of the chemicals were burning a lot on my nail beds and I was kind of fidgety which cause her to cut me ( I noticed later I was bleeding a wee bit)I get the sense that the manager is possibly the only one certified which would be fine if we were told prior that some of the employees were trainees or not 100% certified which should have reflected on the price, I would never pay $50+ dollars for a bumpy, confusing and painful pedicure EVER! I would like to give them another chance if they can fix my polish and be more clear and consistent with procedures, pricing and Credentials not just from my own experience but because of my neighbours who still had so much skin on her big toe but another women’s commenting more than once that she was hurting her during the pedicure which is justDangerous

This place was great. Very clean and professional, no loud music blaring which was nice. Staff were all friendly. Bianca was very sweet and took the tone to explain the difference between gel and acrylic nails to me and the health and ecological impacts of both. She was also meticulous about shaping and buffing my fill to get the right shape and evenness. It was nice to chat with her, I will be back again for sure.

Got exactly what I wanted, but I wish they would have told me that it would take longer time for my pedicure to dry since I had normal nail polish. When I got home I had marks from my socks all over my toes so that was disapointing since I payed a lot of money for it. And they played only asian pop music when I was there.

After going around trying different nail salons, I finally found a place I want to return to! The service here was so great, I had Tina doing my nails and it was the first time I saw someone who wasnt rushing! She took her time with details and was giving me advice on my nail care and what we could do to protect them from damage and how to strengthen them. She gave me lots of options on designs and really gave a nice caring atmosphere! Youll have no regrets going here.

My best friend and I got our nails done here as we were so happy with the results. The salon is clean, comfortable, and has affordable prices. Our nail tech, Tina, was cheerful, professional, and did a gorgeous job on our nails. Her work was so great that I honestly would have felt guilty paying any less for our manicure & acrylic set of nails. We will both be returning as loyal customers after such a wonderful first time experience!!
