We just came back from a 20-person family trip to the Riu Jalisco resort, in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico - thanks to an awesome travel agent named Marti. This trip went really well, including having a private bus booked to/from the airport and a nice birthday dinner and surprise gift planned for one of the attendees (my husband, who turned 44 midway through the trip). We appreciate how smooth everything went, and were super excited to travel again! The resort itself had fairly nice employees, and the layout was easily walkable. We fell in love with the Italian a la carte called La Piazza" (amazing food)

I have had a professional relationship with Marlin Travel in Red Deer since 2015. I worked with the ladies to paint & renovate their office, the staff were friendly and accommodating during my time working for them. Marti was a great communicator, she was upfront, organized and honest. I can tell she cares a lot about her clients, staff, and the office. I can say it was an overall great experience!! On 2 separate occasions, I also received travel consultation, and was assisted in steps to getting my passport and on short notice. Marti & the ladies at Marlin Travel are amazing! I wouldn’t pick anywhere else to look for help planning the best trip! And I would, without hesitation work as a contractor for them again as well. Marti, Karen and Ang at Marlin Travel, Red Deer are the BEST!!! From my experience, they are very knowledgeable to know the right destinations as they have all travelled extensively!! Their bright, cheery and sincere smiles that greet you are genuine and make me feel welcome and 'in good hands' as soon as I walk through Marlin's door! Their amazing, professional service and attention to detail goes back many years and they are all in it to make my getaways the very best experience...be it adventure or relaxing downtime!! We had a fantastic experience booking through Marlin Travel in Red Deer. The whole office staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.We were so thankful that our travel agent, Marti Rogal, stayed after business hours to accommodate us and make sure we got our trip booked. Thank you Marti for all your help! We will definitely be back to book through Marlin again!

Hats off to Angie and the staff at Marlin Travel. As soon as we walked thru the doors the service was awesome . They tend to your needs and are very pleasant to deal with. I have never had any agent take care of us as well as you have Angie . Much thanks from all of us to you. After 2 failed attempts at other agencies , it was Angie who was able to help us .

Angie planned our Costa Rica trip, which was a blast. Angie was always ready, willing, and able to assist us when we needed. Highly recommend her services.

I reached out to Marlin travel looking for some pricing on vacation packages for a family trip. Karen Fix told me it would be best to check online at sites like Westjet vacations and the like to get pricing including flights. I'm a little confused with that recommendation from a travel agent, isn't that what a travel agent does? Would not recommend, probably best to take Karen's advice and book online.

My relationship with Marlin Travel spans almost 20 years! I will only book my travel through them...even though I live in a different province now! Karen Fix and her team will go above and beyond any expectations you can think of! I have booked trips from Mexico to Africa and have never had one issue with my travels. If you want a smooth stress free way to travel book your journeys through Marlin Travel Red Deer Alberta!

Do not use Karin Fix at Marlin Travel. This was literally the most demeaning and terrible experience I've ever had. Our first conversation was great and then I hadn't heard from her via email after 2 weeks, so I called to follow up. She treated me like I was wasting her time and like I was burdening her. She sent me condescending emails as well. I won't post them because I can't even do that to someone. Very unprofessional behavior.
