Went in for an inspection and got the typical upsell for brakes. Was told my pads were at 1mm so they failed me. NYS requires 1/16 in (1.5mm) and when I got home I measured them myself with a pad gauge and it was 3mm. Of course after I challenged them in the pads they claimed my rotors failed as well. So they were wrong or lied to get the upsell on brakes. Shady business tactic. Remember these guys work for commission so they will sell you work you don’t need. For this reason I will not return.

Made an appt 20 Hours in advance for a State Inspection. Brought my vehicle to the shop for the workers to say they couldn’t complete it due to having no ink for the printer! No courtesy call nothing! No excuse!

Brought my 2021 ram 2500 in for an alignment that was never done, nor was I given a print out of the alignment only a receipt for the charge couple months after they said they did an alignment. A brand new set of 35x12.50x20 tires was destroyed because the toe was in -.55 on the front wheels. I contacted the corporate office they wanted all this info and then some. I sent everything via email like they asked and a month later no response and no resolution and now they are ignoring my calls and emails. I recommend not taking your vehicle to this establishment for any work done you'll end up being ripped off. This business should not be in service by any means.

This place is awesome. The District Manager just happened to be running this shop the day I visited. I explained my recent experience at the Potsdam Monro. To my relief he listened. The mechanic did the fastest muffler and brake job I have ever witnessed. Great people.

This review is in reference to my most recent experience with Monro. I've used them off and on for the odd oil change or inspection in the past. They've always been polite and accommodating, and this continued to be the case when they recently helped me out of a tight spot. I was really pressed for time (travel plans, camping reservations, multiple families, etc.) when I found out my truck needed considerable front end work. My local dealer had the parts and could do everything that day with the exception of an alignment. Monro squeezed me in at the very end of the day to get the job done so we could head out on our Family Fourth of July" road trip!"

DON’T EVER GO HERE FOR INSPECTION!Had my car inspected last November 2022, and now I have problems with my brakes. Do they even inspect it right? A big NO!
