Dr. Johnathan Campbell feels threatened by empowered women and he did not take any of my concerns into consideration, he was working on his agenda only and rather than providing options for the patient he said it was his way or the highway and would not help my 2 year old son if I didn't agree to doing everything the way he wanted it done. He bullied me into his beliefs despite my sons medical conditions preventing him not being a suitable canidate for the specific procedures the doctor demanded I went through. That being said I took my money elsewhere where they provided proper treatment for my sons medical conditions and were treated very kindly with respect at Bolton Kids Dental. Also, Smile town is not child friendly in the least, they made me feel as if I was a unfit parent unable to tame a rabid animal.

I just want to thank the wonderful staff and doctor by relaxing my child's fears at Smiletown Guelph!! They were very welcoming and made my child feel comfortable. A special thanks to to Dr. Derek! The staff answered all my questions and eased my anxiety about my child's treatments! I highly recommend Smiletown Guelph and will recommend them to family and friends!!

My son had 2 separate appointments here in one week for crowns, extractions and root canal. The first under nitrous and the second under full sedation.Dr. Derek is absolutely incredible. 10/10 bedside manner. He took so much time explaining everything to us and going over options. He talked to my son directly and made sure to always include him in conversations about his care even though he’s only 4.The incredible woman at the front desk went above and beyond to get everything organized for us. She was so helpful and kind.After my sons surgery, Tanya (RN) was very attentive and compassionate. She was very thorough and had incredible bedside manner.Overall, the entire staff is unreal. It’s a calm environment which makes it less stressful for everyone. Thank YOU!!! I would recommend this location to anyone.

My son had to have a second dental surgery due to a failed dental surgery the first time, I called smile town and they managed to get him in the next day for surgery! The staff and the dentist Derek is amazing! I can’t even put into words how great they are here! The atmosphere is so comforting. Everything was Explained step by step before the surgery after the surgery, was told to call if any concerns any question, there is no silly question. I would 100% recommend smile town for your children. This was the Guelph location! :)

We had nothing but problems with management and front desk. The front desk pressured me into a conscious sedation because I would have to pay for a missed visit if my child wasn't able to continue through the work. Then after agreeing, I was told Healthy Smiles doesn't cover anesthesia so I would be charged. Now dealing with my other child being referred to their Sister Office" I'm told Healthy Smiles does cover anesthesia. I call Smile Town and learn they used a different code that Healthy Smiles doesn't cover and the manager says it was my responsibility to look into all my options. It should be their responsibility to inform parents anesthesia is covered by Healthy Smiles but they use different options that aren't covered. Overall the dentist was great with my child and explaining the best options for my son and have nothing but excellent things to say with their work. Unfortunately

Dr Derek and his team are great and very professional. My 4 year old had his treatment under deep sedation. I was very nervous anout the whole procedure but Dr Derek explained it all very well and followed up in the evening.Always recommend!

Hands down the BEST place for children and ALL of their dental care needs. Everyone who helped us was extremely friendly, professional and made us feel so comfortable with our child having dentistry under deep sedation. Thank you everyone for this top quality experience and for servicing our region so well!!!

The staff here are wonderful and take such good care of my two little ones. Dr. Derek was so pleasant and explained everything with great humour and put them at ease.Couldn't recommend more.

This was the best experience that my child had at a dental office! He had major dental anxiety but when we took him here the staff were so good with him. They let him feel the tools so he knew they weren't scary at all! I would take your children here!

Friendly staff, well organized, and ready to answer all your inquiries. Dr. Derek answered all our questions, and my son had a lovely conversation with him and the nurse.I appreciate having this place here in Guelph.Highly recommended.
