damn near impossible to get in touch with anyone. I have been calling for the last 3 days and left multiple messages and nobody is calling me back.every 3 months expect a $5 increase without you knowing about it.I just ran a report showing the last 12 months with this company and the increases are consistent. absolutely crazy.I've called, emailed and I even faxed them asking someone in accounting to call me back... nothing.

Their drivers dinged my car and then left a note without a contact number. They indicated they would be back to look at the damages and never returned. Ended up losing my car after two months of my insurance agent trying to get them to own up to it. They're supposed to be garbagemen, not garbage men.

The Emterra Team we dealt with in Surrey for a 40 cubic yard roll-off bin was great.The entire team we dealt with (Scarlet, Mark P, Marcine and the driver) were great communicators, well organized and professional.We highly recommend their services.

International Paper Industries, IPI/Em Terra Environmental is the first in the Lower Mainland to pioneer single stream/unsorted recycling! =)Because of this Surrey residents don't need to sort our recycling and the city gave us HUGE 240L and 360L toters, also we can have unlimited toters for recycle and organics from the city.There are a lot of haters for Em Terra but they do a messy job at the plant here on 148th st and 64th ave that no one else around does (or could!) They keep our city VERY clean and sort all of Surrey's recycle needs.They also do front end large bin commercial bins and complex toter services alright. You can bring extra large cardboard here too!Every other city still pushes the sorting work of recycle on the residents. Stupid blue and yellow bags, tiny blue bins"

They help keep criminals employed and evade having to pay child support. my ex works there under the table and i have pictures and evidence showing this but when the baliffs call to confirm he works there they lie and say he doesnt .... they also expect all their drivers to work 10 - 15 hour days 5 days a week because they cant properly manage.

This morning just before 9:00 I observed the driver of your truck #61501. He went well above and beyond expectation as he wrestled with the garbage in the lot behind the businesses at the corner of Johnston Rd.and Prospect. The whole area was a mess. The can had to be moved before the truck could get at it , many garbage bags were lying around, and loose garbage was scattered. This was all picked up.I'm impressed!

the people that operate and pick up the residential garbage and recycling are the worst. I put my bins and cans out at the curbside but when they pick up they either throw them or leave then put in the street where cars hit them. Have a little respect for people's property. i have tried calling the office but they can't be bothered to assist. I wish the city would look into a different company that can do a better job.

Pickups at my place of work were late because of snow - understandable. But after inquiring, we received a pickup on Friday and then on Saturday morning when I was refilling the bin, we had another pickup. Not only that but the gentleman helped me pull all the recycling out of the back and loaded it for me. A big thank you to him - he seems like a great employee - and a thank you to Emterra for their quick response.

Very rude and unprofessional staff at the Bailey's chilliwack location! My son was tossing a cardboard box into the recycle bin which was full of smaller cardboard boxes and what turned out to be some candy and wrappers underneath as well but before that was determined the attendant was shouting at my son aggressively to not throw garbage in bin. I told her it was all cardboard and asked her to come inspect it which she did not she was very aggressive told me to get off her site. I asked for her name and she refused I asked who her employer was and she refused. My son may have accidentally throwing some wrappers in the bin but did not deserve the harassment from this lady. Very unpleasant experience! I recommend going elsewhere!

Worst garbage company. We’ve had full organic bin sitting outside our apartment complex for at least 2 MONTHS now. The flies and bugs are getting thick. They’ve been informed of the problem multiple times and still can’t be bothered to collect it.
