Best aesthetician I have ever worked with. Honestly I wish I had the time to go every month.First of lets talk about her kind aura and ambiance. I love her room she completes her services in, soothing music, a beautiful view, a unique architectural interior and two different seating areas. One to rest one and one chair to sit in for a consult. Its honestly the most relaxing and giddy feeling I get entering the room. She always offers some lemon water as well and its very sweet.Next is the amazing knowledge she posses. She has a cool tool that skans the surface of your skin and tells you how hydrated it is. I love how much I have learned from her. Honestly she creates such a friendly environment I feel so comfortable. Her facial services always leave me feeling amazing in the moment and after for weeks. I learned the importance of skincare that tik tok and youtube cannot teach haha. I am very thankful and am excited for my next facial.Saruga

I was a flustered bride looking for a makeup artist and hairstylist with just under 2 months to my wedding day. I happened upon Shakereen (the Makeup Guru) on Kijiji and decided to contact her after reading the wonderful reviews.I met Shakereen in person for a consultation and it became apparent to me that I was extremely lucky to find Shakereen. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skin care and makeup and she provided me with a lot of helpful tips to make sure I looked my best on my big day. I brought some pics of makeup looks and hairstyles to show Shakereen what I had envisioned for my wedding day.When the big day finally came around, Shakereen did an amazing job. She did my makeup, my hair and set my dupatta. Everything happened seamlessly and I owe it to Shakereen. She had so many things to do to get me ready but somehow she was able to do all of that, yet also made sure I was not stressing and that we finished on time.I received a lot of compliments from my family and in-laws. My makeup and hairstyle lasted well into the wee hours of the morning as we partied away after the wedding.Overall I had a great experience with Shakereen. Shakereen exudes a warmth and passion for her profession and it shows in her work and her advice. I was extremely fortunate that Shakereen was a part of my big day and if you're reading this review I would encourage you to contact her as well, you won't be disappointed!

Today I finally leanrt how to wear a saree by myself!! Shakereen was an amazing teacher! It was a small and intimate class sizes which helped give attention to small details. Bonus she also held a demo on makeup application for us all! Huge thank you! ❤️

Shakereen did such a phenomenal job with my Nikkah Ceremony makeup in 2017, that I also asked her to do my Wedding Reception in 2018. I love her work so much, she's actually in my Google profile picture. She is so professional and she's comfortable to be with on a busy and most important day. Love her!

I met Shakereen through her skin balance program and left with so much knowledge. I learned so much about my skin, what products to use and their ingredients. I've been getting facials for 15+ years, but trust me when i say this, Shakereen's knowledge and service is unmatched. Shakereen did my henna and hair/ makeup for my wedding events. She was so patient, down to earth and flexible. On the henna night my family were in awe of her skills and kindness, she worked tirelessly and quickly while making everyone feel special. I was hesitant about “over the top” looks for my wedding and Shakereen was able to guide me to find the perfect balance of glam and normal. She was patient and flexible which was so important at what can otherwise be a stressful time.

I had an idea of the look I wanted for my wedding reception, so I arranged a make up consultation with Shakereen at her lovely home.She has got so many different colours to choose from, which can be overwhelming, however she showed me palettes which had the exact colours I was looking for. Shakereen is amazing! She helped me feel more in control of my acne-prone skin leading up to my wedding. I left every facial feeling relaxed and confident about my skin because of the reassurance and expert advice Shakereen provides. I met Shakereen at the Suhaag Wedding Show and set up a consult shortly after. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and I was immediately at ease with her and eager to have her do my wedding make-up. She went above and beyond anything I expected. I never looked deeply into skincare and she set me up with an amazing new skincare routine months before my wedding. She understood my skin so well and had it glowing in a few short weeks. I still follow her routine and plan on sticking to it for life.She did a makeup trial for my bridal shower and helped me realize my vision for the actual wedding. As someone who rarely wears makeup I was nervous and apprehensive about how different makeup might make me look but Shakereen quickly made those fears disappear. I still looked like myself and felt like a beautiful glowing princess. She was amazing at listening to what I wanted while also gently encouraging me to try new things outside of my comfort zone. She was very easy to talk to and worked with my feedback really well.She was also very professional throughout the whole process and kept in regular contact, sent very useful information and was always available to answer my questions or give me her feedback.I would highly recommend her as your makeup artist for any occasion.
