Seems to care about the people he represents. Gave a presentation at my son's highschool. Grass is well kept on Grassy Plains. Thumbs up, he will be getting my vote always.

After the tornadoes touched down across Ottawa other councilors were all using radio to reach their wards. Not a peep from Mr. Hubley. He failed to open shelters where we could go for a hot shower or hot meal. Every other Councillor did. Allan left us alone, in the dark and cold. Hungry and thirsty. Restaurants and our local malls in our area were also closed. He either didn't care or he had no idea how to do his job. Either way, it was an appalling lack of empathy and concern for the very seniors who voted him in.

He promised to only stay on council for 2 termsEverything done since is the fruit of that falsehoodWhen someone is elected to council their dutyis to serve everyone in the ward not just those whodonate to his campaign and those who voted for himHe gets a large percentage of his campaign funding from corporations and has no shame about itHe does not represent the residents of ward 23How can he when he is in a conflict of interestShame on himIn most jobs you have to produce results or seek employment elsewhereNow is the time for taxpayers to stop employing himand elect someone that will Earn their payIf he really cares about the communityhe should resign and let someone else do the jobDon't be complacent get out there and VOTE him outI had to give him 1 star because there is no minus 3 stars option

Most of the reviewers have only 1 review to their credit?. He is to busy with the LRT boondoggle and millions tax payers wasted! Meanwhile, Kanata has fallen apart. Garbage and litter all over, potholes, graffiti, parks are a mess, city garbage cans slowly disappearing. Grass on medians 3 feet high! Pictures are the graffiti in front of AY Jackson!

I see signs on Grassy Plains to vote him in again! Heck no, our end of town is a mess, the sidewalks on Grassy Plains are atrocious, he should get in a wheelchair and try going down this street! The grass is never kept properly, they tell us to stay away from long grass because of ticks and the city grass is never cut, always looks slummy , I won’t be voting for him again!

If I could rate him zero stars I would. Read the Ottawa LRT inquiry for yourself. He's a shill for developers who can't even get elected without them paying 90%+ of his campaign costs. After the awful way he's treated the people of this city and his less than honest answers about OCTranspo and LRT he should at least have the decency to resign!

Hubley needs to do the right thing and resign over the LRT fiasco. He has completely lost the confidence of the citizens of Ottawa.

Best election sign I have ever seen! Speaks the truth! We can't allow this guy to have another 4 years! Trash all over Kanata, Graffiti all over! unkept medians! Parks are a mess! Roads are a complete disaster! Look at the mess on Eagleson Road near Katimavik. A tree falls down on a grass area, the city staff cuts around it rather than picking it up! Shame on this guy and this city! Transit is a complete joke! Look who is the transit chair!

never pays any attention to residents of his ward frequently requesting his assistance in helping to enforce residential speed limits…and, now is opposing a much needed addition to the effective camera monitoring system…he’s completely out of touch with the need for public safety !!!

Please note that under the circumstances... one star... is a superior rating. Allan has not returned calls or emails, except for email auto-replies, in years. Zero follow-up. Why do we pay Allan $100,000.00 a year + office expenses, etc.? -- As a member of the planning committee, Allan almost always votes yes for developers/developments... and no to tax payer development concerns. Why are we paying taxes? -- When it comes to bus service, the main Kanata south regular bus route 88 (formerly the 118) that also serves Bells Corners, and Algonquin College, is constantly no-show or up to 30 minutes late. Allan does nothing. -- Further, Allan let the Kanata south 168 route be extended through new housing areas in Kanata north. Why? Each of these new Kanata north houses/apartments paid a $9,000.00 or $4,000.00 transportation development fee as part of the buyer's purchasing costs, to be paid for establishing new bus service. Instead of providing new bus service, OC Transpo hijacked the existing Kanata south 168 bus, and extended the route through the newly built Kanata north housing areas. Consequently, you can walk from Hazeldean mall to the Kanata Centrum mall (takes 30 minutes) quicker than the extended 168 (35 to 45 minutes) bus route... that used to take a more reasonable 15 minutes to do the trip under the old route. Thanks Allan! -- Allan allowed one of our three Kanata south express bus routes to be moved from Kanata south, to a route through Bells Corners; no replacement bus route, and all of the Kanata south express bus routes were full at the time. Thanks Allan! -- Allan wants to build lots of 40 story condo towers, and affordable housing, along the new Light Rail Transit (LRT) system. Where is it written that affordable housing has to be located next to a light rail system? What did affordable housing residents do for the past 60 years... before light rail? I guess Allan's plan is to overcrowd the new LRT system within 3 to 5 years after it opens; just like the OC Transpo buses are currently overcrowded. You often have to let 2 or 3 buses pass by... before you can get on; and even then it is standing room only. Why build LRT, if we are going to overcrowd it as soon as it starts operating? For years the mayor, and Allan, said the $2.4 billion LRT costs would be paid for by long-term financing (just like a mortgage): no mention... until a few months ago, of building LRT condo towers so the city could pocket all those juicy development fees. What gives? Talk about not being transparent. -- And then there is all those famous Kanata pot holes in our roads and sidewalks. You have to hope you don't break your car, or your neck, falling into one of them. According to a recent city report, the city needs at least $400 million of road and sidewalk repairs: now! Even more in the near future. The city has failed to provide proper road/sidewalk maintenance for almost 10 years. -- Allan just does not seem to care about actually providing the core services that the tax payer is paying for. -- Why are we building a new $100 million dollar library, that no one seems to want, while still dumping raw sewage into the Ottawa river? -- Police: underfunded. By-law officers: underfunded. City inspectors: underfunded. Buses: underfunded. Roads and sidewalks: underfunded. Paramedic services: underfunded. Social housing repairs: underfunded. What a mess! -- Ottawa residents pay the fifth highest property taxes of cities across Canada: just slightly less than Regina (fourth place), and Halifax in third place. Plus, Ottawa residents have to pay a wide range of user fees, and additional utility infrastructure charges on their utility bills. - Voted for Allan the last two times (4 years each = 8 years). What a mistake! Never again! When it comes to core services for tax payers, or respecting what the tax payer does not want in terms of development, Allan does not seem to care. Why are we paying him $100,000.00 a year?
