ONTARIO K9 - Stability, Obedience & Protection

We have had a few issues with our husky's recall and obedience. One time, our husky ran away from us at the park to sniff something. She was soo far away from us and WOULD NOT come back when we called her. Afterwards, we knew that something had to change if we ever wanted her to be off-leash. Thats when we started going to Ryan's training facility and within the first class we saw so many improvements with our husky. With Ryan's guidance we have became better handlers and now we can take our husky out for a walk without a leash and she will stay around us, leave things alone (birds, dogs etc) and would come EVERYTIME we call her. Our husky is also blind in one eye, and attending Ryan's training sessions has helped given her so much more confidence in herself and in us! We recently got a german shepherd puppy and started bringing him to training as well. Both of them get so excited to go to dog training and so do we because we are always learning something different. Ryan is very helpful and he cares about all the dogs like there his own. 10/10 would recommend. Such an amazing place to be!Thanks Ryan!

Ryan is an amazing trainer, I ran into Ryan at a pet store, as my pup went off on a barking spree he agreed to see my 7month old shepherd at his place in Kingsville. He got down to business right off the bat. Straightened up my dogs behaviour in the first few minutes. As my dog calmed down and started paying more attention he explained the nuances of handling a big dog in real life situations. Learned a lot in just the first visit and looking forward to more. He’s got an amazing training facility at OntarioK9, I’d highly recommend this place.

Our pup has been quite challenging and we have been having issues with his reactivity. We have tried other trainers and had little success. Ryan was able to assess the situation and provide direct, easy to understand training to instill confidence in us as handlers to better direct our dog. In one training session we were able to go from our dog snapping at another dog to them walking side by side with no reactivity. He provided us with a lot of guidance to help us to better understand our dogs needs and how we can guide him. Ryan is a fantastic trainer for dogs as well as their humans. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks Ryan.

I got my GSD from Ontario K9 and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Ryan was extremely professional and friendly, happily answering all my questions. As for my dog, it was the best decision I ever made. He’s grown into a beautiful pup whose eager to please, and his genetics speak for themselves. His structure is lovely, and he took to training instantly. At 6 months old, I’m insanely impressed with his progress. Will be getting my second dog from here as well!I highly recommend!

Ontario K9 has changed my life. I have 3 large and rowdy pups and I learned so much about proper communication with my dogs, being a leader for my dogs and being a team with my dogs. Ryan is an amazing teacher and guide. He’s thorough with instructions and really helps you formulate a special bond between you and your pup. Not to mention that you will see actual results and love them. If you’re looking to train your dog, this is the place and Ryan is your guy.

It's hard to believe how our dog improved in just an hours worth of Ryan's coaching. He took our 8 year old dog, who is typically aggressive and reactive towards other dogs, and got him to stand above one of his pups without moving an inch! Our dog is currently in his board and train program, and we're so excited to see how our dog improves within a months time. I cannot recommend this trainer enough, he really knows what he's doing!

Very professional and knowledgeable. Ryan’s passion and confidence in himself and training abilities transfers to his clients which transfers to the dogs in training. His constructive criticism is kind but firm in a way that is not at all offensive. Ryan’s demeanour is relaxed and calm. He is easy to speak with and communicates in a clear confident manor. Kudos to his passion and commitment not only to himself but in his trademark. I would train again and recommend to anyone wanting training for their dogs. 10/10.
