Shoppers Drug Mart

Despite having 3 sources of insurance I still had to pay $10 dispensing fee. This is not the case elsewhere. ???

I always enjoy shoppers great selection and decent prices. The pharmacy seems very organized and knowledgeable

Two times had poor pharmacy assistance filling prescriptions. First time used their automated system to have a prescription filled. Said pickup in 2 days. Attend to find the medication was filled same day. Normally jot an issue but the meds have a very short shelf life as its a liquid med. This meant we lost out on its use as it expired due to 2 wasted days. We were told to just call as they usually have meds ready very quickly. 2nd time we called ahead due to the holiday to make sure meds would be ready day after. Attended only to be told they were busy and not ready for the time stated by the staff. Infant requires the medications and twice had something be done improperly. People rely on medications and some are life saving. Unacceptable to have us alone with 2 consecutive issues for our newborn. Also prices seem highly marked up. Major store chain and found a smaller pharmacy had some products 10$ cheaper st regular price. Pulled our prescriptions and took them elsewhere. When dealing with health, can't be left to chance.
