Nine's Hot Pot

Extremely expensive and not worth it, spent 90$ for 2 people. They charge you 20 dollars for the soup base, as well as 4 dollars for soya sauce/mixing sauces *usually free. Portion sizes are absolutely tiny. Do not come here!! You have been warned... to top it off - ended up getting diarrhea after.

I went there with my husband when it just opened. We spent over $130. It’s the most expensive hotpot I’ve ever been to. And the spicy broth was a complete disappointment. Only spicy, no other flavours. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Social distancing is a joke there. Staffs are lack of training. Asked twice for water, waiting 20 mins for water. We have 4 people, only gave 2 settings.Open sauces bar at the entrance, customers are not wearing masks when they are grabbing their sauces.Tables are basically back to back, no dividers between the tables. $3.99 per can drink, $3.99 mandatory sauces charge even though you don’t need sauces. Overall food are just ok and food is overpriced. Hope they can do better job on keeping clean and safe environment for customers. Will not go back again.

Don’t waste your money here. We ordered take out ~$100. Guess what. All it came was a small bag of soup base and some hotpot items. They are even too lazy to pour some water into the soup base and package them into container. The soup base was horrible. I rather spend $5 at t&t and get a decent hotpot soup base and better hotpot items for probably 1/4 of price.I can only imagine all of their hotpot are straight out of soup base bags, all you get is msg.For your wallet and health please dont eat here.

This place was alright. The spicy broth was decently good and quite spicy. Social distancing rules were not followed very well as the tables were still close together. There were customers coughing and sneezing at the table next to us and I felt that the space between tables was not nearly enough.They charge $3.99 EACH person for the dipping sauces, and due to the pandemic they are not allowing customers to make their own. They bring you most of the ingredients to make the sauces. They did not provide my table any soy sauce, and when we had asked for it, they told us they didn't have any and brought us a bowl of salt instead...When we left, we walked past the sauce station and saw there was soy sauce. This could have been a miscommunication or a language barrier, however very strange.

Extensive wait time, buffet quality foods, slow service and very pricey . Food quality is no where close to their price. If soft opening is an excuse, then maybe they should offer soft opening special for the service and food quality that they are offering. Would not recommend going to this place.

You can’t image how spicy and experience for this restaurant. For the spicy, you maybe stay at your bathroom whole day after this meal. For the price, it maybe double even triple higher and other similar restaurant.

Very average taste and EXTREMELY HIGH PRICE. Like other comments stated, the portion is way too little! Around $3 for 5 tiny pieces of potato slices? I went there once tried the beef tallow base hot pot, it was ok, nothing surprising.The crisply fried pork has too much fat, not recommend.The sauce has very limited selection and it doesn’t worth the price they charged. Most importantly! The sauce bar has NO coverage during the COVID-19, and the tables are so close to each other!The waitress was nice but too SLOW, waited 20minutes for a bottle of water.We spent over $90 (tips not included) for 2 people, won’t go back again, not worth the price.

Since this place had newly opened, I was extremely excited to have a hot pot place close by. We tried the three flavors pot, the only one that was good was the spicy beef broth. The other two (mushrooms and tomato flavors) were pretty bland. Otherwise, it was authentic tasting and it was pretty clean. However, I couldn't rate this place higher as the prices were too expensive. Portion sizes were good (we had myself + two boys) and we were stuffed by the end of it. However, the prices make this place too expensive for us to come often. Plus, they seem to charge for sauces when other hotpot places in the city doesn't. We came during lunch so there was no wait time for us, but they seem to be very busy with all the international students in the evening.Hopefully they are able to run promotions in the future, and improve their non-spicy broths.
