La Vie Nails

I’ve gone to La Vie nails 3 times now and I love it!! It’s so clean, the staff are friendly and great prices. I’ve had Cindy do my nails the past 2 times and I love my nails!! She has great attention to detail and always does great on the designs I want. I’ve brought 2 friends with me to this salon, they love it too. Definitely my favourite nail spot I’ve gone to!

I’ve been to La Vie Nails many times for manicures, pedicures and dip nails. I have always received quality service. Pedicures have always been amazing and last a full hour never feeling rushed. I highly recommend you give them a try. Thank you to the ladies at La Vie Nails.

I have been to this salon three times, and while the first two experiences were great, I was really disappointed by the last one.First of all, I have short nails. I know they aren’t the most fun to do, but it has never been a problem anywhere I have gone. The first few minutes of my appointment was two of the ladies laughing at how short my nails were. I usually ignore stuff like that but it didn’t feel like a friendly joke it was judgemental.The worst part was that my tech pushed my cuticles back so far that one started bleeding mid appointment and didn’t stop at all. I thought that it wasn’t a huge deal but when I got home to wash my hands 3 of my nails burned. It’s been hours and my hands are super sore.The inside is gorgeous and I did have a great first two experiences, the pain isn’t worth it and I won’t be coming back.

Nail quality was good all round. The guy who did my nails was very nice and helpful. The width of my nails are different on each hand. That's my only pointer. Otherwise the location is easy to get to and is new clean and big.

This was my first time at the salon and I opted for dip nails. The shape and colour are beautiful, however, she left a lot of colour on my skin - it’ll go away after a few days but not super impressed by how it looks at the moment. The price was also good ($45 with tax on natural nails). My issue however, is that they had multiple customers and the phone kept ringing so my nail tech had to get up from doing my nails 4 times and left me waiting for her to return for 5 minutes each time - I would suggest they get a receptionist. In addition, the sanitation freaked me out. I’m not sure how often they clean their tools but she picked up the nail buffing tool right from the work station and made me bleed on two of my fingers when cleaning up my cuticle area, but she put the tool right back after she was done... she put antiseptic on one of my cut up cuticles but not the other, and proceeded to dip my cut up fingers in the powder that will be used for other people’s nails. Also when she started, she placed my hands on paper towel that was already at the work station and was clearly used and dirty. Not sure I will be returning based on the cleanliness of the place.

DO NOT EVER GO! I went for dip, I showed up on time to my appointment and they didn’t start on my nails for another 20 mins. They made my nails super thick so I asked them to file down, which they did. The lady then told me to was my hands so the other girl can do my top coat. I asked the other girl to remove my cuticles as that wasn’t done she told me that it’s extra and they would charge for a manicure, except I was there for a dip manicure…no other place I’ve ever gone has said that.She then added to top coat and brought out the UV light so I said it’s dip why are you using the light she said you need to for the top coat….THEN I went to pay and she told me it would be $56.50, but if I pay cash it’s $55…the math doesn’t add up here.I have colour stuck on my fingertips and the whole appointment took an hour and a half, and the owner was siting right next to us and said nothing. Will never return.

First experience was a good one. My technician (Lynn I believe) used clean tools and was very thorough. I was very happy with the end results - nails were filed evenly and polish application was done expertly.

I started going to La Vie the month they opened and can't recommend it enough. The entire team is amazing and so friendly. You know you're going to the right place when you're welcomed when you walk in and treated with respect while being treated to the best service in town. Never have I gone in to find any of their team just sitting there waiting for clients to 'walk-in'. Plan ahead and make an appointment - they're usually very busy and that's because they're the BEST!

Horrible!! The lady was not neat at all i had to keep asking her to straighten or polish missing areas. She couldn’t put gems on, she asked me to look at it if I like it and before I could even answer she says “yes or no, I don’t have time!” Ruined my birthday nails . They are so ugly! Also left polish all around my fingers. Stared my pedicure after two other yes finished first. Rushed and horrible quality.
