Knead Registered Massage Therapy

When we moved to Nanaimo, other recommended Knead. After being a regular customer for 2 years, I'd do the same. All of the RMT's that have treated me have been professional, knowledgeable, and skilled.The front office staff are wonderful too! You can't get in as a new client now, but when you can, this is one of the best in Nanaimo.

Very professional, competent staff. The massage visits are really making a positive difference for me! I will be interested in learning about other professionals working there .

Today was my first time at knead and wow what a great experience! Curtis is skilled, professional, and has such a calm and relaxing energy. Best massage I have ever had! I will definitely be back again.

I called to schedule in for RMT and was booked in with Rahim. He was very nice but I was not happy with the massage. When I called back to reschedule with another therapist, the reply I got from the receptionist was “oh, ok so you want a more traditional type of massage”. I told her yes and when originally booked, that is was what I’d expected to get. The response was that Rahim doesn’t give ‘traditional’ types of massages. I told the receptionist that this should have been mentioned when I first booked and that I’d like to be added to the cancellation list for the upcoming week. I received a call this morning at 11am saying they had an opening for 1130 with a more traditional RMT. I was okay with the appointment as long as I wasn’t charged the deductible for the difference my insurance wouldn’t cover because I was not happy with my previous massage. The receptionist, Erin, said she would have to make a call and get back to me. As the time was nearing that I would have to leave for the appointment in order to make it on time, I called back multiple times with no answer and was then told that the appointment had been filled. However, she did speak with both the managers but they were not able to provide me with a response regarding the refund/removing the deductible charge. I was told that a manager would reach out to me. At this point I’m not expecting much from Knead as the experience has already been very disappointing.

I had my second massage ever with Jeff. I was a bit anxious and I was bit worried and skeptical it could help me much, but he was very helpful and took notes of my problem areas, and it was not a painful massage (at it was my experience somewhere else). It was relaxing and it actually helped my chronic pain so much, it got rid of my pain completely for a whole week!

I am a regular, albeit inconsistent, client at Knead and I absolutely love my treatments. My regular practitioner is Rahim and his services are life and body changing. I cannot recommend him enough.I will also see other therapists when I want a more traditional massage and I have only had wonderful experiences each time.The building and treatment rooms are clean and calming. The atmosphere at reception is professional and friendly.The COVID protocols are reassuring that our wellness is important.

I have been going to knead for many years now and I look forward to every visit! Every treatment is professional and the therapist are attentive to your needs. They each have a specific treatment style so whatever your issue I'm sure they can help!

OMG I just got a massage from Joanne and I can't even express how amazing it was! I was recently in a car accident and my muscles have been so tight for so long. Joanne has seriously made a WORLD of difference even in just today's session, I've never had anyone find every spot that needed attention like she has. She has such strong hands and knows exactly what's needed. Do yourself a favor and book in (not to many of you though because then it will take longer for me to get in again).Also the staff here have always been super friendly and just all around great. They're the only place I go!

Jeff is a great RMT, The only improvement is that their online booking availability is not up to date, and a lot of times I am force to call to make appointments. Reception goes to their voice mail, not easy to talk to someone.
