Edit: Karen, my review stands. I am truly disturbed by how you conduct your business. In my opinion, you don’t have any integrity and you are dishonest. A simple BC Court Service search today shows you are not currently suing Knotty Boys or the owner, Samuel Orchard. The lies continue. You stood right next to our contractor in your store while he told us our stair nosings had been sent out and were ready. The untouched flooring was on a shelf in the back of your store, and you later informed us that you never sent it to be made into nosings. This is just one example. Don’t play victim, it’s insulting.Dealing with Karen from AZzurra has been the WORST experience of my life and I am a Firefighter, so I have had some pretty nasty ones.Zero stars would be more appropriate and would not recommend.

In my opinion I've been frauded and cheated I believe Karen to be an accomplice to knotty boys construction they worked hand in hand to take hundreds of thousands for incomplete jobs . Save yourself the head ache . Burn your money in a dumpster and go for likes on social media . It will get you further than this clown show .

I encourage people to go to the store and view the showroom - wait, what? The doors are locked and the lights are off?? Very strange for a business... She's probably there though, she's just hiding from all the clients who she has wronged (sadly there are many of us). A business owner who hides in her store and screens her calls from upset clients - very unprofessional. No credibility and no integrity WHATSOEVER! She ghosted us and left us with an unfinished and incorrect kitchen. She works with contractors who blame her for not ordering product while she blames them for not paying her the perfect scam".#FAIL"

Owner calls herself a designer but does not have the skills or the credentials to back up that title. So many local businesses that will provide a much better experience. Don’t waste your time here

Edit: No where in my review did I mention Knotty Boys Construction. This review is for Azzurra and the absolutely horrendous experience I had in dealing with them.I don't have many regrets in life, but working with Karen and Azzura is one of them. Multiple aspects of our project went wrong. Our suite shower not being done as planned for with Karen is one example. We picked cabinets at the store and another brand was installed without our consent is another example. Karen denied responsibility. My question is is what was the point in spending hours in the store taking about our design and picking materials if there would be no oversight that this was actualized? In my opinion there was little to no accountability or professionalism demonstrated throughout the process.More concerning, was the deception, in my opinion, that Karen maintained on behalf of our contractor (also an awful human in my opinion.). Zero stars would be a more appropriate review here.

As a client of Karen’s (kitchen reno), I had a great experience - I am super happy with the finished product and the materials she provided.

If you like getting ripped off, then Karen is your ‘designer’. Here’s an example, she cannot give you a price per sq foot for anything that you’re looking at. It depends on ‘freight’ according to Karen. Literally no prices. Okay, but at least a ball park? Nope. Everything is either in your price range or not. Secondly, she keeps responding to reviews by blaming Sam Orchard and Knotty Boys. And yes, he took a great deal of money from us and did very little work, however she stood right beside him and told us that Sam and her were business partners. She also said that Sam had paid her for all of our materials, and that they were on their way. Karen now says that she didn’t order anything because Sam didn’t pay her and now we are out 85k. Save your money and go to an honest person, not someone who has terrible taste and is a train wreck pretending to be a designer.

Absolutely awful experience. Karen ordered our kitchen island 2 feet longer than agreed. Even the counter top showed up the right size and she blamed them! Can't pull the fridge out now. It was then she completely ghosted us and our project. The sink rusted and not all our cabinet doors showed up. If you have an issue with her professionalism, she emails threatening to sue you. I'll post that when she sends it....She's a con artist along with her business colleague knotty boys.See you in court you miserable hag

Cheap knock off materials. Poor communication and can't use a measuring tape to save her life.I'd hire a blind man before reccomending this company
