Very interesting museum. Audio guide is easy to understand even if you are not a native speaker. Cup of coffee on the terrace overlooking the river puts the dot on the i. Good to see industrial culture kept alive in such an entertaining way. Well worth a visit!

Great experience, well maintained. The Audio Guide was helpful. Amazing views from the tower as well. The reservoir in the basement had some interesting projections. Courteous staff made the experience extremely worth the money. Tip: The visit is free on 1st Sunday of the month.

Not much to do if you dont have kids ;)The self guided tour coupled with equipment based audio tracks is a nice experience. The fact that it's a decade old factory amazed me.The underground cell is a good but short lived experience. The best place to be here is their terrace. See picture. Overall a nice place for a one time visit.

Good simple museum about how paper was made and the installations around trois-rivières.The guided visit is good, the paper making activity was fun but quite brief. The rallye where you find writing on the wall with special flash lights is cool, especially with kids.Once you're done all of this you can go back in the exhibit and properly look at it, taking the time to listen to everything, which includes a bunch of testimonies from people who worked in the trade.Very nice, not too expensive and relatively quick.

Great museum experience! We took an audio tour in English and it is the perfect balance of information, interaction, and visual exhibits. The architecture of the biding itself is fantastic and the remaining industrial relics are compelling. It is a great hertigage museum which to engage adults in the tour. Wonderful way to spend a couple hours a day well worth the price of admission which was very inexpensive. There are also pic is tables outside and the area is part of a river park.

Not a big museum but it is fascinating, unique, well laid-out and well worth visiting! The scaled-down paper-making machine is so intricate and a sight to behold, and something that you could rarely see anywhere else (unless you work at such a factory)! The exhibits overall had great and clear explanations, and I learned so much about Trois-Rivières's industrial heritage (it was once the most densely populated city in Québec!). But now, the city's historical importance is not well known, so I would highly recommend visiting the museum. Some other highlights include the corridor leading out to the rivers, which has a preserved water filtration facility and great views; the underground exhibition area where you could see the water filtration machines and even try your hands on pumping water to filter it; and, of course, the former underground reservoir. It is preserved such that there are still water drops/puddles on the ground, and it was just such a unique experience to walk through it.I would highly recommend spending a few bucks to buy the booklet Premier « shift »" at the gift shop. It is bilingual
