One Call Plumbing & Gasfitting

Had a dishwasher water supply issue & needed a water valve replaced on the main water source to the dishwasher. Called One Call Plumbing and they came within an hour or so. Found the problem right away & replaced the faulty valve. Very efficient, professional and courteous. Planning on having them back to do further projects. Highly recommend them! James Cameron

We didn't think we would be able to have a powder room in our old Farmhouse but One Call Plumbing worked really hard to make it happen. We are beyond happy with their services.

New customer to this business and wanted to warn others. Work completed was good but it's a price gouging company. If they are there for 15minutes, everything is rounded up to an hour rate charge. If I had of known, then the remainder of paid time could have been spent looking at the jobs needing to be done and preparing an official quote before moving ahead. It wasn't until the bill arrived that you discover how they charge their customers. You are just told it's $125/hour. Our original appointment was cancelled with no notification until I called to confirm they were still coming. They did manage to still come and do some of the work on the original booked appointment day but now didn't have all the parts available to complete everything until the following Monday. 2 visits means 2 truck charges on the bill which they did end up removing. Also tried to charge us for them leaving to go and get parts on our dime and should have showed up knowing what work needed to be done regardless if it is different person coming, but that was also removed. The clock also doesn't stop once they leave the door, it stops once they drive away. Big oil spots were also left in the driveway. Parts are extremely marked up on top of their 125/hour rate. For example, a 1x1/2 copper 90 is .75 cents at home depot but you are charged $8. A $16 part was $45 and so on. It certainly adds quite a bit to the bill when you are doing several things. We had one job re done and it cost us more as it didn't work with having a top load washer with the way the pipes were coming out. The second time around was much better and should have been done like that the first time! We have other plumbers we use in various areas and never have experienced such price gouging in all our years of getting work done. Hopefully we can find a more reasonable company within the Cornwall area to service our properties. The bill is also just clumped together with parts and labour with one big total. It is nice to see what you are paying for."

the first day of contact . set a date. then received a call stating they had to postpone the estimate for 3 days. ok I said no problem. 2nd time was a cancelation due to emergency job they supposedly had meanwhile we still had our ceiling leaking aswell an emergency job but apparently not with a 4 year old living with us aswell of course and a 69 year old. during the time of 2nd call they were actually supposed to start the work this is like nearly 3 weeks to a month, they come. then he finally comes with an apprentice. both children. pit my tub in after I tore out two walls to do so. did some piping work for install of my new tub. tub is in and they were now suppose to be back to finish complete and put new toilet down and more piping and put our vanity that isn't in in. now that we are upset they are not showing up. this is a horrible company. they put children at risk. I would never recommend or call them again. the people deserve to know these facts

Quick and efficient. Did a great job at fixing a leaking toilet in a recently renovated washroom. They took all precautions to ensure the space was sufficiently protected and left the room as they found it. Would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!

Proffesional service. Travis and Lauren helpful. We were without hot water and they quickly temporarily fixed water tank and then ordered and replaced new tank. Personally I recommend using this company.

All I needed was to have a NG heater installed in a very accessible area with NG supply hookup only 5 feet away. Couldn't have been an easier job. Unfortunately they left me high and dry twice after setting up a service date with so much as a call or text. Lots of excuses on their end and ultimately I gave up because they just made it too tough or simply didn't want the work. Could have just said no and I'd be on my way. Horrible communication skills! I tried to support a local business but they made it clear they didn't need it

One Call Plumbing was fantastic to deal with. After a minor sewer back up we called One Call based on facebook group recommendations. They came quickly to investigate the problem. They were kind and patient in answering our many questions. The team came to fix our problem (which was no-corrode sewer in the home) within the end of the week. They were done in less than a day. They were very professional, and when they finished they made sure everything was as clean as it was when they got there. I would not hesitate to work with One Call Plumbing again for any job in the house, big or small.

Inaccurate estimate (thousands of dollars), job ended up being a lot bigger then explained (should have known from the scope/mapping), very messy job which costed much more to fix, very unprofessional to deal with. Do not recommend
