I loved how they gave bear safety guidelines! I spent the day at the beach, enjoyed a warm shower, the park rangers are super cool too and helped me fond my way to the bathrooms with a map! This was a spur of the moment outing and I will remember this for the rest of my life ♡

Stunning view of the bay. Long white sandy beach, clear turquoise water (albeit cold in early June). Great campsites along the beach.

Excellent park in a great location on the shores of the lake they call Gitche Gumee (Superior). Park is well laid out and clean. The staff are awesome. The only complaint is the close proximity to the Trans Canada Highway. You get some road noise, otherwise the park is a 5/5Across the road is the trail head to the Edmund Fitzgerald scenic hike that takes you to a viewing platform that overlooks the resting place of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.( famous song by Canadian folk icon Gordon Lightfoot)

Beautiful little Provencal Park. Obviously the water is a lot colder than what say Lake Erie is. But there were still some people swimming, kayaking, and a family playing spike ball on the beach. We went in late May. No bugs buzzing around us or biting in sand.

Very nice camping facility. Book early to be sure you get your preferred campsite. Ear plugs are suggested as it can get noisy at night.

Amazing place. Great dog beach which was the main reason we drove the 8 houra to get here. Did not disappoint. Beautiful beaches, very clean facilities. Will be coming here annually.

Site #151very nice & clean campground just across the lake. It so soothing to rest at night w/ the sound of the waves. Close to the washroom (flush toilet & high pressure shower). Be mindful that it is close to the highway so better have sites close to the lake. There more secluded d site if you prefer. Also there’s a hiking trail.

We love this park and return to it often. It is especially beautiful in the fall when the maples change colors. The long beach is superb with its natural sand. The shallow bay warms up enough for swimming in the summer which is rare for lake Superior. The only thing that people should know is that it is situated along the Trans-Canada so you can hear the transport trucks that go by. Try to get a site as close as the water as possible.

Beautiful campground. Beautiful beach. Helpful staff. Large sites where neighbours are not on top of you.Didn’t use the restrooms so cannot comment but will be returning because it was a beautiful natural setting for camping. Sewer dump could be somewhere more convenient but that being said we loved our time there.

The first time we stayed here it was a very good experience and I loved it. This time it was disappointing. Our site was very small with not much privacy. People were walking through it.The outhouse near our camp site didn't have a sign to point it out. But thankfully it was only a little further to the main facility anyway. Bathroom was clean. Boyfriend said showers were very nice.My dog loved the dog beach and had a blast ripping around. So many beautiful stones to look at and the views of Lake Superior of course !
