CanaDream RV Rentals & Sales Halifax

In 2019 we did a relocation from Vancouver to Toronto in the Overlander camper. We visited various national parks in USA of which Yellowstone was the best. We really enjoyed our 18 day road trip.

We did a very thorough diligence of RV rental options in Nova Scotia and Canadream clearly came out ahead from a value perspective. After spending more than a month on the road with them, I'd highly recommend them from a quality perspective as well. I'll add a shoutout to the Halifax location manager, Willy, who was amazing and really helped us make the pick up and drop off process as seamless as could be.

We picked up our RV in Dartmouth NS and the staff were wonderful to deal with. They went over details of all we'd need to know about our RV before we left. We had a great time traveling! It had a powerful engine so even on some challenging roads we had no trouble at all. Drop off was at the same location and went so smoothly we were in and out in under half an hour! We will be traveling this way from now on!!Thank you

Very easy pick up and drop off experience. Great vehicle. A bit outside the city but close to the airport.

Beware of their Fall Special! No matter which vehicle type you booked and received a confirmation for, you will get an MH-type unit (the largest and only type that is winterized) as Canadream claims they need to be winterized because of unusual cold temperatures in the Maritimes" starting at the beginning of October - complete nonsense! You will find this out upon arriving at their base in the middle of nowhere - too late to cancel. Canadream does not deem it appropriate to inform you during the booking process or immediately after that MH are the only units available. We are wondering why the booking of anything but MH units is actually possible at all during the fall?!If you did not book an MH unit and insist on getting what you booked

I loved the van, and the people working there were very helpful and nice. I would go back to them. Only had issues with equipment ,but was given compensation for the inconvenience.

Yes, I was a guest and return a MHA ON Aug 28th. When we first arrived, having spoken to a pleasant lady, the checkout was going well until Connie came along. I had to tell her to her face that she was quite rude. She said we were late though we got there at 3:55pm and the other lady tried explaining to her that we got there before 4pm. Then she got of the phone speaking German to someone hoping I didn't understand German. When I was time for the airport dropoff, she said there was no local taxi that can take us 7 of us to the airport and we may need to wait for an hour to get a taxi from the airport. Eventually they got a local taxi that had to do 2 trips then she she they will be paying for only 1 of the trips. I wouldn't recommend the Halifax team to anyone.

Do not take the risk. Their policy, which we signed, is punitive.We didn’t even dream that we would be in a accident. But as we all know, accidents happen. As an FYI, police did not charge us due to weather conditions. Just sharing the details as Canadream will disparage us with details of the accident in their response to this.As their tech Peter stated ‘it’s our skin’ to get home. Canadream will respond to this that it’s our fault and we signed the contract. They are missing the point. Our point is to appeal to anyone thinking they want to rent with Canadream. If you have an accident, whether or not it’s your fault, your trip will be over and it’s ‘your skin’ to get home. Why take the chance? Don’t take the chance. Go rent with a company that would ensure their customers get safely home regardless of fault. I am now 1800 KMs from home and it’s all on us to figure it out.

We loved our 28' rv. Well appointed. Great way to enjoy our region during a pandemic.
