Such a hidden gem! This was the highlight of our eleven day trip to the Maritimes. Eleanor was kind enough to open up for us during off season and gave us a private tour - it was awesome! The Rankin Families Orangedale Whistle song will forever bring back this wonderful visit in my memory every time it plays. A great investment of your time to detour off of the highway for a short visit!

It looks like a neat place. Cool trains, but not open like it said it would be online, and no number to call and see if and when it would be open

Being a fan of the Rankins, we had to make the short detour from the highway to Orangedale Station. The museum was closed but it was still so cool to see the trains and the tracks. It's like stepping back in history.
