They are so helpful here! They were setting me up with information on some family history there and found out where family was buried. I am so grateful for all that they do :) The layout of the museum as well is lots of fun to explore. They’ve done an incredible job.

Great little museum (go through the library doors then turn right). It was just a bit hard to find in the building. Good displays, friendly staff. Good overview of the areas history.

Excellent little museum - it was a great glimpse into the local history of the area.It's also surprisingly large considering it shares a building with the library and admission is by donation.

Interesting back In time experience. They have the info on their exhibits but we found it difficult to locate the info in their catalogue system -old school and unfamiliar system. Entry is donation and definitely worth a visit. Make for the library it's in the same building.

AVM is a top notch local museum. They have really great collections of local artifacts telling of the rich and diverse history of the Alberni Valley. I especially liked the ugly dolls - they can be forgiven since they were made by an elderly blind man. There's a lot more and it's definitely worth checking out!

Love this community museum! Most of their collection is out so you can see it. Drawers can be pulled open. Great bit of local history. The museum's archives are also located here.
