Alex and his team just finished a 5 week project for me. We had 2 spiral stairs that needed refinishing complete with new railings/nosing's and one concrete stair that needed completely new treads and risers. His price was not only fair, but he stuck to it. Most importantly his work was outstanding. I asked him to install the nosing for the stair openings first and then come back to finish the stairs once my flooring was done. He accommodated my schedule and once he started, he didn't stop until the job was done.I contacted Alex via a google search. He came over to my place, gave me a price, and helped me with my design. We took his suggestions on some of the design criteria, and am very glade we did. The end result speaks for itself.I will recommend and already have recommended Alex to a couple people. If you need stair refinishing, he is your guy.

We had Alex refinish our stairs and replace the old wood spindles. The end result was amazing. His quality and craftsmanship was second to none. He worked closely with us on the colour, placement of the spindles and overall design. He finished on time and on budget. We picked Alex because his service was dustless. There was little to no mess. Watch out for this crook. I had given Alex the deposit for labour plus full price of the materials and booked a start date. However, the date has come and gone, but he never showed up. He tried to push the start date additional 3 weeks out which does not work for me at all. I asked for my money back or at least the materials for which I paid in full - so I could hire another contractor, but he refused. I am trapped because I paid in cash and now he is not even returning my calls. Don't trust this guy unless you want to loose your money and have no way to get it back.

Fantastic, Extraordinary! Alex is great to work with, honest, reliable and very respectful of us and our home. The quality of his workmanship, design ideas, and attention to detail are all top notch. We had some nasty work that required hours of sanding. There was no dust! Alex's standards are very high and he was only satisfied when the stain match was perfect, the leveling, spacing, curves, angles and positioning were just right. I will hire Alex again every time I have a problem that he solve.
