First visit to the Barrie lab and very happy with their efficiency. I didn't have an appt. but the wait time was minimal. Staff were polite and helpful.

Went to get my blood work done and it was quick and easy (I'm a hard poke so that isn't common for me). But I witnessed an older female staff member treat a woman from Guyana quite poorly. She scolded her for not having her paperwork ready. The attitude was just very unnecessary.

It must be a pre-requisite to hate the general public and be annoyed with everyone you come across in order to work at this clinic.

There were enough staff but all gossiping each other and not taking care of the patients. While taking the blood she was in a rush and it hurt a lot.

Very reasonable wait times, the staff was all incredibly kind and easy going! Painless blood draw. Awesome experience!

Had to go twice this week and both time I didn't have to wait (I went early in the morning). Straight in and out, super-fast service. No booking needed - walk-in.

Was able to book an appointment online for a last minute spot (booked Saturday for the following Monday). Online booking was simple and easy. Staff were friendly and efficient. I was put into a room right away and waited about 5 minutes before the technician came. She was very good with the needle and minimizing my discomfort. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I went back later on to drop off some additional samples and it was right before they closed (less than 5 minutes before closing). They had already finished with all the patients for the day and locked the door, which I totally get after a long day. It wasn't my intention to arrive so late, but there I was. One of the staff noticed me and came over to unlock the door. They accepted my samples (and hopefully my apologies) and I was very grateful. They would have been totally justified in turning me away and asking me to return the next day. I know it might not seem like much, but I greatly appreciated it after a long first day of March break with the kids at home. I wouldn't hesitate to book at this location again. The location advertises that it is by appointment only, but they accepted a number of walk-ins while I was there.

Great staff! The only major complaint I have if that the owner of the building charges for parking. It’s seems very greedy and unfair. I expect Life Labs to put pressure on this greedy owner to stop this practice. I will definitely look for another place to go if this stays like that.

This is the worst service I have ever received in my life. I was attended by Justina who is a rude and undesirable person to deal with... She treats the public badly, I feel sorry for the elderly people who have to deal with this type of person. The government should control the service of these centers and sanction the people who does not do their job well.

Your staff with whom I've interacted at this location are pleasant and professional. Something you need to change is how you deal with incoming clients. Your new signs that are posted in the hallway tell us, basically, that EVERYONE must wait in line, regardless of whether they have an appointment or are just dropping off samples or paperwork. The lineups can last for quite some time, and can be a challenge for the elderly or the sick. The worst part comes when you finally make it to the desk and are told that you can't be seen. I do understand that the lab might be running at capacity, but you need to have someone canvas the lineups to tell people what's going on. Waiting for half an hour only to be told to come back another day is very frustrating.
