The Bike Zone

About two months ago I purchase a Legacy Vendetta road bike from The Bike Zone, after months of shopping around Barrie and York Region for an entry level road bike. The Bike Zone was the only shop that offered an actual promotion/discount on a bike in the range I was looking for. While the Legacy brand was one I was not familiar with, the carbon build is quality and the components are familiar/what you would expect for a bike in this class. No issues to report other than a minor slipping seat post which was addressed by the shop crew in a 10 minute visit, of course covered under their one year service warranty. The team at The Bike Zone is educated, very friendly, and trustworthy. I will be shopping here again for all my bike needs.

Service is amazing! I took my bike in just to change some pedals and not only was it super quick they also fixed up and tuned my bike!

A couple weeks back I had Joe walk me and a buddy through purchasing some upgrades for our bikes. He was a great salesman and very informative. About a week after I purchased the parts I finally got a chance to install them at home and something with the crank set didn't fit right. I went over to the store and talked with Terry (hopefully the right name) one of the shop techs and explained my issue. He confirmed that the parts I purchased were the correct ones for my bike and recommended I bring the bike to figure out the issue. I brought the bike by about 10 minutes to closing expecting to leave it there until they had time, and to my surprise Terry put the bike right on the stand and started to check it out. He quickly noticed that the chain ring that came in my kit was not the correct one for the kit. Terry found the correct part in stock and replaced it with mine. When he finished installing the new chain ring and told me I could take it home, it was after closing. What a great experience, I definitely recommend anyone looking for anything bike related to check here first. They have a great staff that will help you get whatever you need.

If I could give more stars, I would!!!John and the others were super helpful and very knowledgeable about all of their products and how to properly configure them.John was super patient in explaining everything and won’t sell you anything that they wouldn’t personally use. They even stayed after hours so as to give you a relaxing and no pressure shopping experience.The shop has a very large selection of bikes and parts, everything you would need. The selection can be overwhelming, but John was great to figure out our needs and shortlist a few bikes to try out, explaining why he chose them for our needs.A very enjoyable shopping experience. Kudos to wonderful people like John and the bike mechanics!

Ordered two bikes from here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. First impression was great. Hope that the bikes arrive in time.Update: reduced 5 stars to 3 because bad customer service. Called in asking if the two bikes I ordered have arrived since the Mississauga srore shows them as available and an instagram post showing their new shipment. The person who answered the call was very unprofessional and had no skills in communication. I asked if the bijes arrived since the Mississauga store shows they are available online. He didn't even bother researching, just asked if I received a call to come and pick them up....so much brain fog in customer service is unbelievable.Again it is a good store it seems but don't expect any service on the phone. They are making more money than ever regardless they should keep service at a certain standard. Hope the remaining time and follow ups will be different. This experience was unpleasant thats why a drop from 5 to 3 stars.If they manage to keep the minimum standards in regards of service I will revise my review...lets see how it will end up.

Yesterday I had a small issue with my derailleur shifting cable popping out, I called around Barrie and was told 1-3 weeks from various stores. These guys fixed it on the spot! No delay whatsoever. What fantastic service! Thank you again guys, I’m right back out on the muddy trails, Love my Kona!!P. S.They also sell great bikes!

Joe and the team were informative and patient while answering all of my questions! They helped me find the exact bike, perfect for me, and I am loving it! It is awesome exploring the trials on my new purchase!

This place is awesome! I recently had a dropper post lever replaced and my bike serviced for the season. The service was superior, price was reasonable, and turnaround fast. Knowledgable staff and loads of product for all your bike needs regardless of biking preference. They have it all.

Absolutely amazing experience at The Bike Zone! Super helpful and knowledgeable team. They helped me pick out a new mountain bike, and were able to answer all of my questions. They were even able to source me a smaller dropper post to suit me better, and it was delivered and installed very quickly! I’ve been able to get out a few times now, and wow what a ride. It’s going to be a fun summer full of adventures. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a bike, bike parts or service!

Dealing with Joe at Bikezone was amazing. He knows his gears and made the purchase of my dream bike a truly fun and exciting experience. It's worth the drive to Barrie to get Top service....it's actually easier to go to Barrie than most GTA stores....
