Real mosh pit dance disco floor. Not my thing but if thats what you want this place has it. When I went to the bathroom someone stole my drink and they replaced it for free.

Monarch Night Club
Went to the burlesque show held at Monarch, and it was lively, entertaining, and exciting to watch a lovely group of individuals express themselves. The ticket counter and security individuals were lovely! And the bartenders are so sweet and have so many options alcoholic and non alcoholic. The drinks were great, the vibe was great, the performance was awesome. Will be going to Monarch again!

Literally the safest bar I have EVER been to. So incredibly inclusive, their staff makes sure everyone is having a good time, the music is amazing, and they have a capacity for people so it doesn’t get too overcrowded or overwhelming (at least last night- don’t know if this is a constant thing since it was Halloween weekend)! I 100% suggest going here whether it’s your first time clubbing or you’ve been doing it for years!! Thanks so much to the employees for providing a safe space for us lgbtq+ folks here in NB! ♥️

I'm from toronto and I am only in Fredericton for a week. While walking downtown on my first night here I was not expecting to come across a gay bar. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. Way better than any gay bar in Toronto. Everyone here was so friendly and welcoming. Nobody was trying to one up" anyone like they do back home. Wish I was staying just so I could make it to Monarch a few more times."

I want to love it here...I really do. But I just don't feel like it's a very comfortable environment for me. The seating is very hard plastic and kind of feels like it's randomly scattered around, and the place just does not have a lot of ambiance. It all feels a bit thrown together and the acoustics are (in my opinion) kind of overly loud so it's hard to have a conversation with anyone you go with. Mixed with the fact that the bar is cash only and the selection is limited, I have typically only stayed for one drink before leaving every time I visit. Which is a shame.I get that things like comfort" and "aesthetics" are subjective...and maybe I'm a cranky old lady...but it just doesn't feel like the kind of place I want to hang out in with my friends and enjoy some beverages on a rare night out.I will give them props though: the staff are amazingly nice and are clearly trying hard. Everyone is so friendly and enthusiastic

I went for karaoke on Thursday. It started off a bit slow, but definitely picked up. Everyone was super chill and friendly.
