Their no-pressure, calm and supportive guidance through the process of planning a cremation and memorial service in the middle of Covid was truly amazing. Bill, Adrienne, and Linda could not have been any better, as well as all the staff, from his trip from the hospice to those screening for Covid and greeting the family. Thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier.

I love this place

I was always a bit apprehensive about having to deal with a funeral home, as I heard horror stories of how places would guilt the grieving family members into over-spending as they planned the funeral. However, my experience with Kelly Funeral Home in Barrhaven, was the complete opposite! They explained each available option and even suggested when something could easily be done by family members should they wish to. They answered each and every one of our questions as there are certain things you only realize to ask as you get closer to the funeral date (e.g. should I be bringing socks and shoes for the deceased?). My Mom met with Jason for the pre-planning and Adrianne (and Scott) was our actual funeral director when the sad day for my Dad was upon us and they, along with all the other staff members, made us feel like we were in a safe place and ready to help and comfort in any way they could!
