H&R Block

I showed up for my appointment and when I showed up I was asked if I wanted to go grab a coffee because the h&r lady who was going to be doing my taxes was running behind...so I left for 15 or so min...came back and was told that she wasnt able to get to my taxes....and that i would be contacted the next day....well 2 days later and i still heard nothing i called and was told on the phone that the agent was sick but assured she would get to them the following day which was 3 days after my scheduled appointment....i understand that people do get sick and I am very patient and understanding.so the following day day 4 after the scheduled apt i decided to wait for their call but hadn't heard anything so around lunch time I called and was informed that she had come in even tho she was sick and was working on my taxes..I wasnt told maybe perhaps a time to go over them and .wasnt sure how she could be working on them when she didnt have all my info so I asked for them to return my t4s because I would go else where....the lady on the other end totally changed her tone to a tone like I was the one that had been in the wrong which I wasnt. A professional would have at least called me to inform the circumstances and not lie to me about them being worked on...hard to work on taxes when she didnt know if I had RRSP etc etc...out of 33 years of getting my taxes done I would say this was the worse by far H&R...I hope in the future the go about things in a more professional manner

Oh wow... I was just looking these guys up for their hours and after seeing all the 1 star reviews, felt I better share my experience. I've been dealing with Maureen Baulne for years. Followed her when she made the move to H & R. Always had exceptional service. Even with the staff at the front desk. Just drop off my info... sometimes forget something and come in and drop off more. They've always been kind, and professional. I guess you just get back what you put out. haha No complaints here.

I'm sure in other situations this specific H&R Block is kinder and more helpful, but not today. If you work with Skip The Dishes or do any contracting work they won't even take a look at your taxes unless you are super organized" and make the work really easy for them.Conversation. Olga is completely rude and disrespectful. We asked a simple question about our newest dependant and got attitude and know better then tho attitude.Will not be using her again.

Just this location - Only open 2 days a week, but they were open during a busy friday to accept returns only so I thought they ran 5 days a week; I was in the area so I went here. Had to wait a month just to be able to come in and pay for the service. GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION, it'll be much quicker and the one off Harvey is very quick and friendly.

I brought my taxes to h&r Block 2 years ago and I was given a price, the very next year it was raised up $100. After the treatment from the front desk girl I will not be returning ever again, went back to my previous accountant, it was $25 more than what I paid at h&r Block but well worth the the difference in price, basically nothing. I'm treated with respect, they actually appreciate my business unlike h&r Block

This place IS the worst. Not the whole H&R brand, but this location. The staff is unaware or lacking the knowledge on how to operate as a tax center. They have completely messed up my taxes and it has been over a week with no results. Kind of scary, so don't go there unless you want your life messed up too .

Tax pro Cheryl was exceptionally kind and accommodating. She explained to me very clearly the answers to my questions and went above and beyond in her communication skills. Very grateful to her. I continue to do my taxes with H&R because of their great customer service

secretary was extremely rude to me and all i wanted to do was to explain myself and was told to shut up and let the person speak. they do not handle people in a professional manner.

Terrible experience trying to get my taxes done. When I called to book my appointment I gave them the appropriate details so they could assign me a competent agent. Unfortunately they did not set me up with someone who was able to do my taxes, or even use a computer efficiently.
