I love their Dagwood sandwiches, but being diabetic, the bread is bad for me. I wish they would make some on sourdough baguettes

Our favourite local grocery store! Well stocked, friendly service, clean and accessible underground parking.

Great little grocery store! Always fantastic meats and Bakery section, the produce can be a little hit or miss and a bit overpriced, but overall nice and convenient and always friendly staff.

Good store but the changes to the pay street parking sucks. I want to be able to run in to grab something and not have to deal with that underground parking. I HATE THAT PARKING LOT.I guess for quick stops without pay parking I’ll now be stopping at the IGA.

Nice place to get yummy muffins, cakes, fresh fruits and veggies. Located in a very beautiful area in Port Moody. Sometimes you can find very good deals on pastries and fruits there. It is not an ideal place to buy meats, seasoning and sauces here because prices are pretty higher compared to other places!

Excellent bakery! Lots of options for fresh cookies and treats, plus I really appreciate the year-round hot crossed buns and the cakes that are made of 4 different cakes assembled so you can have options for picky dinner guests. The produce section is also great, with a lot of beautifully arranged varieties you can't get elsewhere. I also appreciate the clean bathrooms. All that being said though, we no longer go to this location because the staff seem unhappy and the customers are consistently and unmistakably miserable. I don't know what to make of it, but we've never been to a grocery store that has such a reliably sour clientele. Anytime you stop to browse a section, another customer briskly sidles up VERY CLOSE besides you or behind you, impatiently tapping their toes and glaring until you finish, or reaching aggressively in front of you for the item they desperately need at that exact second. Seriously, the last time my wife and I went it happened to both of us 4 times within the first 5 minutes of being there! And I don't like to dawdle, either, but apparently I can never be fast enough to please the others. Our theory is, because the store is at the bottom of a bunch of residential towers, it's mostly patronized by residents who know what they want and are in a hurry to keep to their daily schedule, which would explain why they are all single, joyless, and think they own the place. So it's not really Thrifty's fault, but it's also a good enough reason to never go there again. Thanks for reading!

Safe. Most people wear masks. I've been going every week for the past two months. Easy to follow. Fruits and vegetables in front, bakery, charcutetie on your right, cashiers on your left.Kinda pricey, but hey that's Port Moody for you right :P? Great produce quality though!

No stock on specials 2 days in a roll. Particularly on whole chicken special- How hard is it to order more stock since the stock comes from Surrey. Wasted 2 trips. Sorry not coming back to waste my gas.

My favourite meat source when loin steaks or prime rib roasts are on sale. Excellent choice of artisan sausages made in their Victoria commissary.
