I highly recommend Joel Bouchard. He is very knowledgeable and provided us with a comprehensive inspection report. As he was inspecting the outside and inside of the house, he explained to us how he was performing the inspection and explained so many things about the functionning of the different systems in the house. I have experienced inspectors in the past who will make you feel like the home is going to collapse when in actuality, the home is structurally sound, but being close to 80 years old it is normal to have some settling.My clients hired Joel from About the House Home Inspections and he was fantastic. I felt that he really took the time to assess the state of the condo, and even checked the appliances, which I later learned was above standard practice.
